The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may reverse her Marchetti designer decision. Will Chelsea want to be closer to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) at Jabot?
Now that Adam has reconsidered Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) offer, he could be joining the team as Jack’s co-CEO.
Since Chelsea might want to build on her renewed bond with Adam, reversing her decision on Marchetti would be a way to achieve that.
Chelsea previously decided to walk away from the chance to be Marchetti’s new designer, but there’s still a chance for her to change her mind.
Even if Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) are moving forward with a replacement, the deal may not be finalized or could fall through at the last second.
Chelsea was Kyle and Summer’s first choice, so they’d probably still want her if she had a change of heart.
Y&R spoilers suggest there’d be some great reasons for Chelsea to do that – starting with the fact that her brief podcast storyline with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has wrapped up.
Since Chelsea is no longer fixating on Billy romantically, she could head down a new path.
If Adam’s going to work at Jabot, Chelsea might want to work under the same company umbrella.
By putting Chelsea at Marchetti, she’d be in Adam’s orbit more often.
That’d drive Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) up the wall and make it even more difficult for her to tolerate all the “Chadam” reconnecting.
Whether Chelsea and Adam ever reunite romantically or not, Chelsea likes being on good terms with him and may want to leave the door open for a future together.
Chelsea won’t have the stress of her work partnership with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) hanging over her or the responsibilities that came with doing a line for Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman).
Now that Chelsea has taken this break to figure out her next move, perhaps she’ll shift gears and eventually land at Marchetti after all.
