The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) spinout will force Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to act, so this ex will want to help Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) mom before it’s too late.
Adam has already been worried about Chelsea since she took the news of Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) death so hard.
Although Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) tried to reassure Adam, he still has reasons to be concerned – especially when it comes to Connor.
Of course, Adam still cares about Chelsea as well and won’t want to watch her go down a terrible road again.
Since Chelsea really went off the rails and landed in a psychiatric facility at one point, Adam’s seen how bad things can get and doesn’t want a repeat of that.
Adam will be living his best life with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) for a while since they’re in love and enjoying positions of power.
That may make Adam even more inclined to help Chelsea if she still seems unstable and miserable.
In other words, Adam may feel a tad guilty about being on cloud nine when Chelsea is still stuck struggling.
There’ll be some situation during the week of June 27-July 1 that adds to Adam’s concerns and leaves him desperate to help Chelsea if he can.
That could mean witnessing one of Chelsea’s recurring meltdowns and trying to intervene – or this could have something to do with Chelsea’s fashion line and some hurdles she’s going to face in her partnership with Chloe.
Adam might think if he can help resolve that, he can at least take one thing off Chelsea’s plate and make her life a little easier.
Whatever the case, Adam will see an opportunity to help and fight to take advantage of it.
Chelsea seems to be handling her grief a bit better these days, but she’ll still face some setbacks along the way.
All the work conflict that’s brewing will add to Chelsea’s problems, so it’s easy to see why Adam will battle more worries and want to pitch in.
There’s no guarantee Adam will be able to help Chelsea like he wants, but he’ll definitely make the effort – and that has to count for something!
