The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will fear Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) mental breakdown. Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) death will bring some troubling setback signs, so Chloe will definitely want to keep an eye on Chelsea and what’s going on in her mind.
Chelsea took it hard when she found out Rey died so tragically and suddenly.
Rey had become a genuine friend to Chelsea, who was crushing hard and perhaps dreaming of a day when Rey could be her man.
Chelsea assured Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) that there were no cheating concerns, but we all know she would’ve jumped in Rey’s bed if given the chance!
The pull between Chelsea and Rey was growing stronger until Rey’s life was quickly snuffed out.
Rey’s actual cause of death was a heart attack, not the car crash itself.
Rey just happened to be driving when the heart attack occurred, which led to the horrific accident.
Of course, we have to wonder if there was some underlying medical issue here.
Is there a chance that Rey’s heart was weakened by the poisoning ordeal that Chelsea put him through?
That’s something that could potentially cross Chelsea’s mind as the heart attack news starts to spread.
Regardless, Chelsea may battle more guilt about Rey being out on the road with hockey tickets.
If Rey had been inside somewhere and received urgent medical care, the outcome might’ve been a very different one.
As Chelsea wrestles with Rey’s fate and misses him terribly, it’ll take a toll on her mental state.
Chloe will notice during the week of May 2-6 and grow increasingly concerned about her close friend.
Since Chloe will be so worried about Chelsea’s mental health, it’s reasonable to think she could fear a breakdown is on the horizon.
Chloe may suspect Chelsea will have to do another stint in a psychiatric facility if she can’t get a grip!
Fortunately, Chelsea has people like Chloe to see the warning signs and help her along the way.
Chelsea may indeed get her mental health back on track before she goes too far off the rails.
Rey wouldn’t want Chelsea to blow all her progress and spin out, so she may figure out a more positive path forward.
