The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) may cheat with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and commit a huge betrayal while Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) is out of town.
Y&R fans know Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) has been growing closer to Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose), so that’s led to speculation that the two of them might hit the sheets.
However, there are new reasons to think a potential twist could be in the works.
It could be Elena who’s driven to her breaking point and back to Devon’s bed instead. Let’s consider how this might play out.
We know that Amanda and Imani are in Virginia with their comatose mom right now.
Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) took a turn for the worse, so both Imani and Amanda were both given an indefinite leave of absence.
It’s possible Imani will return home sooner than Amanda, but neither one of them are featured in any available spoilers so far.
They’re only part of the story as topics of conversation.
That leaves Devon, Elena and Nate to play out some drama in the meantime. This is a familiar love triangle with a lot of complex feelings and history involved.
During the week of August 8-12, Elena will seek Devon out for guidance. Devon will gladly be the person Elena turns to for help with some romantic issues.
Elena will be upset over Imani, so she’ll end up confronting Nate after her discussion with Devon.
That could lead to another faceoff for Devon and Nate, who’s probably going to accuse Devon of making trouble in his relationship.
When you add that to the tension that’s already happening at Chancellor-Winters, things may get ugly!
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will push for peace, but it’s doubtful she’ll be able to achieve any.
We’re building to a situation where both Elena and Devon are incredibly frustrated with Nate.
The fact that Elena feels comfortable enough to lean on Devon and ask for advice could be significant, too.
It sounds like Elena will strengthen her bond with Devon again, so will all of this lead to cheating?
Elena may get so worked up at the thought of Nate betraying her that she lands back in bed with Devon.
Of course, Devon would surely want to keep their lapse in judgment under wraps since poor Amanda is off dealing with her ill mother.
Elena and Devon might settle on a pact of silence to avoid hurting Nate as well, but this could turn into yet another secret that’s ready to blow!
