The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will return from her time at the cabin and prepare to face Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). Jeremy claims he just wants one more meeting with Diane so that she can answer some remaining questions and offer closure.
Of course, Jeremy also agreed to take the $1 million Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) offered and skip town once this meeting concluded.
Even so, Jack will remain on edge about Diane landing in this dangerous criminal’s orbit again.
Diane may have her doubts about Jeremy actually keeping his end of the bargain since she knows how he operates.
That’s why Diane will have to be smooth about how she deals with all this.
Although Jeremy used Diane as a money laundering mule once upon a time, there was still some level of attraction between them.
Diane thought their romance was legit until she discovered Jeremy’s manipulation, but now she’ll be the one doing the manipulating.
When Diane meets Jeremy at Society, she’ll turn on the charm and do some fake flirting.
Diane will want Jeremy to believe she’s still romantically interested and would entertain the possibility of a reunion.
It’ll somehow be part of Diane’s plan to neutralize Jeremy, but Jack will be uneasy about this strategy.
Since it could backfire and make Jeremy even more obsessed, Jack will want to monitor the situation closely.
Diane won’t realize Jack is spying nearby as she playfully toys with Jeremy and handles him like a pro.
Jack will see for himself Diane’s masterclass performance and find himself quite impressed by her.
The ease of Diane’s deception will rattle Jack a bit, but he’ll also find Diane to be brave and strangely enticing.
Y&R spoilers say this whole situation will make Jack more drawn to Diane than ever before.
There might even be some level of jealousy going on for Jack.
Although Jack will know this is just a ploy on Diane’s part, he may not like the idea of her wasting her seduction skills on a guy as vile as Jeremy.
That’s especially true since Jack’s starting to want Diane for himself!
Jack will continue to make updates to his view of Diane and will reevaluate his goals, so that’ll mean good news for their romantic future soon enough.
