The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will prepare to have a blue Christmas without Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez). It’ll be heartbreaking since Diane was looking forward to finally being with her son and grandson for the holidays.
Kyle will feel the same way, so he’ll ultimately decide there has to be a solution.
Although it’s risky to visit Diane at her hiding spot, Kyle will work with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) on a plan to make it happen.
Y&R spoilers say Jack will take the lead on the first phase of the scheme, which will involve creating a diversion.
The goal will be to distract Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and make sure he isn’t in the loop on Kyle’s return trip to the cabin.
Kyle and Summer won’t want Harrison blabbing to anyone inadvertently, so they’ll simply get him in the car and offer the vague promise of a Christmas adventure.
That’ll be enough to get Harrison excited for what’s to come.
Once Summer, Kyle and Harrison show up at the cabin, they’ll share some cute family moments.
Harrison will finally get updates on this being a visit to “DiDi” and will be told she’s been out of town helping Santa get ready for Christmas.
Harrison will love the idea of seeing “DiDi” again and spending the holiday with her, but there’ll be a big problem. Upon entering the cabin, Kyle will realize Diane is nowhere to be found.
The lights will be on and the place will look undisturbed, but Diane will be missing – and that’ll be a major red flag for Kyle.
It’ll leave Kyle fearing the worst as all sorts of horrifying Jeremy-related possibilities fill his head.
This should send Kyle into panic mode and leave him wondering what he’s going to tell Harrison now that Diane has disappeared.
Diane doesn’t have a car where she’s staying, so Kyle will worry she’s been kidnapped.
However, there’s a chance this will be a false alarm since Young and the Restless spoilers say Diane will get a surprising gift on December 22.
Perhaps Diane will emerge from the attic, basement or maybe even a snowy walk in the backyard.
This could be a case of Kyle jumping to the wrong conclusion and finding relief soon after when Harrison runs into Diane’s arms.
There’ll be some shocking cabin scenes as Kyle and Summer try to figure out what’s going on, so let’s hope good news is coming in the end!
