The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) wants to bring Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) to Chancellor-Winters. Even though Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) tries to stop it, she might not be successful. Nate and Elena could be headed for a breakup, but it might have more to do with power and less to do with Imani.
Imani Benedict’s Seduction
Y&R spoilers reveal that Imani has been after Nate ever since she first laid eyes on him.
Most people would back off once they learned the object of their desire was attached. However, Imani is not most people.
For Imani, it doesn’t matter if Nate is interested or not. It also doesn’t matter if Nate is in a committed relationship.
When Imani sees something or someone she wants, she stops at nothing until she wins.
Y&R Spoilers: Nate Hastings’ Plan
Nate wants to bring Elena on board at Chancellor-Winters. However, Elena has a contract with Newman Media.
Nate asks Imani to find a way to get Elena out of that contract so she can do podcasts for Winters-Chancellor.
Imani doesn’t want Elena at the same company. Imani is working on getting closer to Nate.
Imani is also counting on Nate’s heavy schedule to create distance with Elena.
In Imani’s mind, the more distance she can create between Nate and Elena, the closer she will get to getting her dream man.
Even though Imani might try to keep Elena out of Chancellor-Winters, she might not succeed.
If Imani lies about it costing too much to get Elena out of her Newman Media contact, Nate could bring it up to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).
After all, Amanda has more legal experience than Imani. Nate might think Imani missed something and could be surprised to learn about her devious scheme.
Nate’s Power, Ego and Deceit
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Elena and Nate could be headed for a breakup. However, it might not be due to Imani. Co-executive producer and head writer Josh Griffith told Soap Opera Digest that Elena knows Nate has a history of deception.
The scribe added that Elena is aware that all Nate needs for deceit are for it to be under the right circumstances.
Dominic also shared some insight into Nate’s changing ways now that he’s transitioned from medicine to business.
The actor told SOD that Nate enjoys the power and thinks he’s really good at business.
While that can be a good thing, it could also spiral out of control. People tend to get a bit crazy when they are given too much power.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Elena Dawson Walks Away?
Right now, Elena is proud of Nate. However, Elena could get a closer look at how Nate operates in the business world if she joins Chancellor-Winters.
As Nate gets more confident, brazen, and power-hungry, Elena could see a side to him that she doesn’t like.
This might cause Elena to walk away, especially if Nate uses deception to get his way.
Even though Imani is a threat to Elena’s relationship, it could be Nate himself who causes the demise of his relationship.
Perhaps Imani is a better match for Nate after all.
