The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, December 23, tease that Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) will trade updates with Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian), who may admit he wanted his Genoa City return to be a surprise.
The last time Daniel talked to his dad, Danny acted like the timing would have to be right for him to come home.
Perhaps Danny didn’t want to get anyone’s hopes up – or maybe Daniel planted the idea in Danny’s head to return sooner than planned.
Regardless, Danny will have some downtime on his tour and will want to spend it with loved ones this Christmas.
Of course, Daniel may struggle to hide the fact that he’s feeling a little lost and alone these days.
There are clearly some offscreen relationship issues that Daniel needs to get off his chest, so he might come clean to Danny.
Even if Daniel doesn’t want to get into the details of his personal life, he’ll at least confess the gaming platform deal he just struck at Chancellor-Winters.
Later, Danny will head to Crimson Lights and find himself mulling over a bold move.
Christine “Cricket” Williams (Lauralee Bell) was a great love of Danny’s once upon a time, so he’ll hover over her phone number and consider getting in touch.
Before Danny can text or dial, Christine will enter the patio door and lock eyes with her former flame.
Danny will exchange smiles with “Cricket” before she joins him for a proper conversation.
While Danny and Christine come together after all these years, Y&R spoilers say Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will discuss their future.
Although Mariah is nervous about another adoption attempt falling through, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) recently offered a pep talk and pushed for optimism.
Tessa and Mariah understand that the journey to motherhood could be a long and winding one, but at least they’re in this together.
Mariah will join Tessa in spreading the Christmas spirit on Friday’s Y&R episode, so they’ll somehow use that to fuel their baby dreams and hope for positive news.
