The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, July 8, tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will fear her future with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is in jeopardy while Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) comes to the rescue. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will also get ambushed, so here’s what Y&R has in store.
First, Sally will find herself on edge. Things are far more unsettled now that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is back to reclaim the throne.
Sally will fret over her future with Adam – perhaps both personally and professionally.
Although Sally loves her new role as CEO of Newman Media, she may assume Adam will slide back into the role.
That would demote Sally back down to COO and leave Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) without a new job offer.
However, it seems Adam will have other plans that could help Sally keep her spot at the top.
Sally may still have concerns about her relationship with Adam and all the drama they’re facing.
It’s one thing to be a strong couple when you’re on top of the world together, but it’s quite another when you’re facing a mountain of derailed dreams.
Nevertheless, Adam could shift gears and focus on a new dream of revenge – at least if he’s willing to join Ashland’s team.
That could prove risky, but the payoff might be worth it since Adam’s so fed up with always being the loser of the family.
It looks like Ashland will make Adam a tempting offer soon, so Adam will have a crucial choice to make that could change everything.
Speaking of crucial choices, Sharon will come to Nick’s rescue as he tries to make one.
Nick will still be on the fence about whether he should return to Newman Enterprises, but Sharon’s advice could help him make the final call.
If Nick didn’t want to get back into the Newman fold, he wouldn’t be dwelling on this.
Sharon may think Nick has already made up his mind deep down and encourage him to go with his gut if it’s telling him to rejoin Newman.
Over with Jack, he’ll get backed into a corner thanks to Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) ambush.
Nikki will push for answers, so she’ll apparently want the full scoop on Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) new job at Marchetti and why Jack’s letting her slither back into all their lives.
Jack will stand by his decision to avoid hindering Diane and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) bond, but Nikki may worry that he’s letting his guard down in the process.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki will take matters into her own hands in the coming episodes, so Diane had better be ready for a vengeful strategy.
