The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, November 18, teases that Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Jenkins) Jabot secret will stun Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) kick off a hot new chapter.
At Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) apartment, she’ll sit down with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).
Connor will find out Chelsea had to go back to the hospital for help with her mental illness, including her depression.
Chelsea will reassure Connor, who’ll cry since he didn’t mean to make his mom sad.
Both Adam and Chelsea will insist none of this is Connor’s fault, but he’ll wonder just how bad things got.
After Connor asks if Chelsea wanted to die, he’ll mention how people talk about wanting to “un-alive” themselves online.
Chelsea will confess she had a moment where she didn’t want to be there anymore, but she’ll note that she doesn’t feel that way now.
Connor will give Chelsea a hug and will get permission to stay the night so his mom won’t feel alone.
Chelsea will make sure Connor knows that’s not his job and will promise she’s working to get better.
Once Sally invites Nick in her hotel suite, she’ll admit she doesn’t want it to seem like she’s manipulating their romantic situation for money.
Nick will insist his loan offer is based on Sally’s talent, but she’ll want to try something new instead of a fashion label.
With all that in mind, Sally will turn down Nick’s offer and hope to succeed on her own.
As for Sally and Nick’s connection, she’ll ask if they’re friends or if this is going somewhere. Nick will sure hope it’s going somewhere as he kisses Sally and takes her to bed.
After making love, Nick will suggest they should celebrate this new chapter and possible business venture.
While Nick’s showering, Sally will get an idea and sketch it out.
Nick will be blown away by the business model Sally has come up with and will be eager to see her run with it.
At Jabot, Diane will force an annoyed Jack to listen to her.
When Diane admits Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) asked her to get documents pertaining to Jabot’s financial stability, Jack will fume over yet another secret.
However, Diane will insist she refused to comply and was handling it herself to set a trap for Tucker.
Jack will be glad that he has time to prepare for an attack and that Diane left Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) out of this.
Diane will also talk about Tucker seeking revenge by giving Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) info on Jeremy Stark (James Hyde).
Jack will find out Ashley and her posse want to plant the idea in Jeremy’s head that Diane put him away.
Diane will ultimately confess she indeed scored an immunity deal and took Jeremy down. Although Jack told Ashley to back off, Diane will think it’s obvious that she didn’t listen.
At Society, Phyllis will offer to buy Tucker a drink and will toast to his tidbit about Diane’s link to Jeremy.
When Phyllis asks why Tucker is back and what he stands to gain, he’ll maintain that fixing things with Ashley is his sole focus.
At the Abbott house, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will tell Ashley that she thinks her marriage is over.
After Abby admits to cheating on Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), Ashley will hug her daughter and act like these things happen.
Nevertheless, Ashley will think Abby can save her marriage and will urge her to start by changing her relationship with Devon.
If Chance is willing to work this out, Ashley will think it’s reasonable for him to not want Abby and Devon to be so close.
Once Jack arrives, Abby will make a hasty exit and let him speak with Ashley alone. That’ll give Jack a chance to blast Ashley for refusing to back off Diane.
Ashley will complain about Jack constantly rushing to Diane’s defense, but he’ll think Ashley has a lot of nerve since Tucker’s using her to do his bidding.
Jack will reveal that Tucker turned on Diane for refusing to get him financial info and that he’s exploiting Jabot’s weaknesses – just like he’s exploiting Ashley’s hatred for Diane.
Ashley will be Tucker’s unwitting accomplice in Jack’s eyes.
Back at Society on Friday’s Y&R episode, Diane will confront Tucker and Ashley, but she’ll warn that they won’t win – no matter what they throw at her.
With Kyle and Jack on her side, Diane will think Tucker and the others had better be prepared to throw everything they’ve got.
As far as Diane is concerned, this will have officially turned into a war!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Diane will fight hard against her attackers, so stay tuned.
