The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, October 14, tease that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will deliver a tearful plea while Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) fears Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) wants Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) back. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will also grill Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), so let’s talk about what’s in store.
In Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) suite, he’ll have to answer Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) question about whether he returned to Genoa City for Chancellor-Winters.
Devon will rant about Nate’s plot and accuse Tucker of being the CEO that his cousin fed information to.
Of course, Tucker will vehemently deny that – and in this rare instance, he’ll be telling the truth!
Y&R fans know Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is the guilty party when it comes to who Nate partnered up with.
However, Tucker isn’t completely innocent either since Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) is his mole.
Even so, Tucker will no doubt conceal that part of his agenda and assure Devon that he truly wants to reconnect with him, Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Wilson) and Ashley.
Speaking of Ashley, she’ll inevitably get fed up over the delay.
Tucker’s confrontation with Devon will make him late for the dinner Ashley finally agreed to, so he’ll be off to a rocky start.
Later, Jack will interrogate Ashley over why she’s still giving Tucker any attention at all.
This will leave Jack on edge since he’d much rather see Ashley keep her distance and avoid more pain.
As for Ashley, she’ll face pressure from Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to manipulate Tucker.
Ashley is in the prime position to score secret Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) details, but that’ll mean duping Tucker along the way.
At home, Nate will tearfully plead with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) to stay in town and work things out.
Since Nate will maintain that he confessed the takeover truth for Elena, she might worry about the “for Elena” part.
Elena may argue that she wanted Nate to do this for himself and truly understand how much damage he was doing.
Nate will assure Elena that they can get through this and will resort to begging since she’s all he has at this point.
Since Nate stabbed his family and everyone else at Chancellor-Winters in the back, he’ll cling to this sliver of hope with Elena.
Unfortunately, Victoria and Nate will still be scheming together during the week of October 17-21, so that could mean Elena will stick to the breakup.
Nate may try to salvage some version of his plan with Victoria as a result.
On The Grand Phoenix rooftop, Adam will wine and dine Sally as he works toward a reunion.
There’s a good chance Nick will derail this dinner for two after he finds out Adam tricked Sally into it.
Since Sally won’t seem all that upset about Adam crossing the line, Nick will question if she wants him back.
We’ll see Nick wonder what’s really in Sally’s heart and push for honest answers.
