The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, September 16 Recap – Nate Is Victoria’s Inside Man, Offers Control of Chancellor-Winters

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, September 16, reveals that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will be Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) inside man and offer control of Chancellor-Winters. Here’s how Friday’s exciting Y&R drama will go down.

At Newman Media, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be distracted as Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) tries to apologize. After Sally leaves to take care of something, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will show up looking for her and get another lecture from Chloe.

Adam will hear about Sally’s meeting with Nick and think it’s odd that he’s so hands-on. Once Adam takes off, Chloe will text Sally about Adam’s visit, but she’ll urge Sally to avoid him since this has to end.

At Newman Enterprises, Victoria will talk to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about being intrigued by Nate and needing to find the right fit for him.

As for Sally, Victoria will basically act like Nick is going too easy on her after such a massive blunder. However, Sally will arrive to apologize to Victoria directly and promise that a mistake like that won’t happen again.

Nick will ask Sally to discuss another matter over coffee, so they’ll grab some and take it to the park. That’s where Sally will offer updates on Adam’s latest declarations and how they messed with her head.

Nick won’t want to be a factor in whatever happens with Adam and Sally moving forward. After Nick suggests they should head back to the office, he’ll end up in Sally’s hotel suite instead. Nick and Sally will strip down as they make passionate love.

In the aftermath, Sally and Nick will talk about their unexpected attraction as they do some flirting and wait for room service.

Back in Victoria’s office, Adam will show up looking for Sally, but Victoria will think he should let her get on with her life. Adam will be sick of people telling him that and will insist he’s trying to right a wrong since he still loves Sally.

Next, Victoria will send Nick a text to let him know that Adam is on a Sally hunt, which means trouble.

Back in Sally’s suite, she’ll get dressed along with Nick. Sally will then look at Chloe’s Adam-related message while Nick looks at Victoria’s text with an Adam warning.

Once Sally mentions that room service is taking forever, there’ll be a knock at the door. Sally will open it to find Adam, who’ll seem surprised to see Nick in Sally’s suite with her.

In bed at home, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) won’t be able to talk Nate out of his plan, which could hurt Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) along with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).

At Chancellor-Winters, Imani Benedict (temporarily played by Denise Boutte) will get fed up as Devon and Lily discuss the legal ramifications of Nate leaving the company.

Lily will have concerns about the NDA and what happens to the intellectual property, but Imani will point out that they’re eager to protect ideas they wouldn’t even support. Things will get heated at the meeting, but Imani will eventually calm down and vow to look into all the details.

Once they’re alone, Devon and Lily will address the thing Imani obviously has for Nate. There’ll also be talk about the IPO and how Lily wants to keep that under wraps.

Devon will get frustrated over Lily acting like it’s a done deal, but she’ll suggest they’re still in the early stages.

Even so, Devon will think he’s outnumbered since Lily is siding with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) on this. That’ll worry Devon since he’ll feel like Lily is making an impulsive decision about something really important.

At Society, Imani will fill Nate in on the emergency meeting about him at Chancellor-Winters. Nate will hint that he’s taking Imani’s advice about making a ruthless move – starting today.

Devon will bump into Elena briefly at Crimson Lights, but Lily will interrupt and get Devon to join her on the patio. That’ll lead to Lily blaming Devon for Nate quitting – though she’ll know it’s not entirely on Devon.

Lily won’t get why it’s so hard to let Nate have a win once in a while. After Lily wonders if Devon is subconsciously trying to punish Nate for what happened with Elena, Devon will deny it and resent the notion that he’d be vindictive.

From Devon’s perspective, he’ll just think he can see the pitfalls of Nate’s ideas due to his experience. Nevertheless, Lily will feel like Devon needs to be more open to suggestions and give Nate the opportunity to fail.

In Victoria’s office again, Nate will show up with a proposal for her. Once Nate offers the news of Jill wanting to take Chancellor-Winters public, he’ll offer to be Victoria’s inside man and feed her info.

That way, Victoria can buy up shares for Newman Enterprises and gain majority control. If Victoria puts Nate in charge of a company, then he’ll vow to help her acquire the shares she needs. Victoria will seem taken aback as she asks if Nate would do that to his own family.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nate’s sneaky move will make some serious waves, so stay tuned to Y&R. CDL will have other terrific Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so stop by frequently.
