The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, September 9 – Victoria’s Tempting Offer – Lily Shuts Nate Down – Adam Changes His Mind

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, September 9, tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will react to a tempting offer while Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) shuts Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) down. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will also change his mind, so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.

First, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will call for big shifts behind the scenes at Newman Enterprises. That may involve another attempt to push Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) out as Newman Media’s CEO.

However, Sally will have Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) in her corner and will listen as he drops his guard on Friday’s episode.

Of course, Victor may have other changes in mind, especially now that Adam is the co-CEO of Jabot. Adam’s decision to work for the enemy may light a fire in Victor and make him more determined to build Newman up as a force to be reckoned with.

Victor might assume Adam will turn this into a Jabot and Newman Enterprises war eventually. Victoria will get a tempting offer, so Victor may dangle a new prospect in front of her and hope they can unite against the threat.

As for Adam, he’ll change his mind about something. It’s possible Adam will try to back out of his Jabot contract, but Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will talk him into staying if that happens. We know Adam’s Jabot job will cause problems as we head into the fall, so this storyline is just getting started.

Adam might also reconsider the idea of letting Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) take Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) to Minnesota for a visit. Although Adam won’t want Connor to stay long-term, maybe he’ll realize there’s room for compromise.

At Chancellor-Winters, Nate’s plan will flop after Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) puts him on the spot. While on a video conference with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), Billy will urge Nate to make his music festival pitch.

Nate will indeed make that pitch and get an enthusiastic response from Jill, but she’ll give Lily the final call. When Lily decides to put the music festival on the backburner, it’ll feel like she’s siding with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) – at least from Nate’s perspective.

Nate will be so riled up that he tells Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) he’s going to quit, so more drama’s brewing. We’ll fill you in as other Y&R news and updates emerge.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nate and Devon’s battle will lead to some unanticipated consequences, so stick with the CBS soap. CDL’s the place to be for sizzling Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so visit us often.
