As luck would have it, Jeremy’s old partner in crime is connected to an extremely wealthy family.
Diane’s Abbott ties could become a factor in some of Jeremy’s upcoming moves.
Since Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) feels complete with Diane in his life, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will fear that might blind him to a looming threat.
We’ll see Summer worry about Diane’s past catching up with her and affecting their family.
Meanwhile, Diane will claim she helped put Jeremy away and will feel like he could target her for revenge.
Based on how Diane’s confession goes down in Y&R’s November 14 episode, there’ll be some doubts about whether she really sold Jeremy out.
Regardless, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will argue that if she were in Jeremy’s position, she’d think Diane might’ve scored an immunity deal.
After all, Diane was never investigated, so Jeremy may feel like she owes him no matter what.
Whether Jeremy wants vengeance or just repayment for keeping Diane out of jail, he could stir up trouble.
The best way to link all of this together is for Jeremy to go after Harrison.
Diane may refuse to cooperate once Jeremy hits Genoa City – and he’ll indeed show up to harass her soon.
That could lead to Jeremy kidnapping Harrison and holding him for ransom.
It’d be a wakeup call for Kyle and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) when it comes to the dangers of Diane’s history.
This would raise the stakes big time since Diane would never forgive herself if something terrible happened to Harrison because of her.
Kyle and Jack would also blast Diane for dragging Harrison into this nightmare, so there’d be some gripping drama.
Will Jeremy use Harrison to get back at Diane and score a huge piece of the Abbotts’ bank account?
Will Harrison get snatched and held hostage until the ransom is paid or a rescue happens?
