The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) might be getting a new man. Is Y&R casting a fresh love interest and ditching plans for a Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) reunion?
There’s no confirmation on that yet, but there are some insider rumblings about a new hunk who could be paired up with Sharon.
It wouldn’t be all that surprising since Sharon doesn’t have a ton of options on canvas other than Nick.
Y&R played up Nick’s bond with Sharon before and shortly after Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) death, but they seem to be backing off a bit now.
Sharon is coping with her grief quite well, so she’s not leaning on Nick all that much.
As for Sharon serving as Nick’s confidant lately, that’s nothing new. If anything, those types of scenes only highlight just how friendly things are between them.
Nick and Sharon aren’t really giving off romantic vibes at the moment.
That could be a sign that perhaps the show will go a different route than Sharon and Nick’s reunion.
Maybe they’ll stick with a “Shick” friendship and let Sharon go in a different direction romantically.
There’s some buzz about a new male cast member in Sharon’s age range joining the show.
It’s worth considering the idea that Sharon will land in a fresh love story instead of doing the same old thing with Nick.
Although Sharon and Nick have great chemistry, their reunions always seem to end in disaster.
It’d be a shame to see Nick and Sharon blow up their friendship after all this time, so maybe it’d be better to leave romance off the table.
Instead, Sharon might meet someone special who’s new to Genoa City. It’d be refreshing to see Sharon fall for someone she’s never fallen for before.
Sharon is still healing her heart following Rey’s demise, but soap widows tend to move on pretty fast.
New love for Sharon might be closer than she thinks, especially if someone unexpected enters her life.
