The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will face a dead end investigation, so his emergency search for Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) answers may turn up empty.
Y&R viewers know Michael took a sudden trip to Peru, where he’s been doing plenty of digging for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Will that digging get Michael in serious trouble, especially after his incriminating video evidence comes into play?
Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) realizes Michael is working for Victor now and surely suspects Michael is the American who’s been pestering employees with questions at the clinic.
Nevertheless, Ashland seems determined to see his plot through to the end, so that may require sending someone to snatch Michael and prevent his homecoming.
Michael has been brimming with confidence throughout his assignment, but Ashland’s move could be a game-changer – that is if Ashland resorts to an abduction.
It’s easy to imagine a situation where poor Michael is shown tied up in a dark room somewhere!
During the week of February 28-March 4, Lauren will have a hard time ignoring her anxiety over Michael.
That could set up Kevin’s investigation during the week of March 7-11, which won’t go well at all initially.
Perhaps Lauren will rely on Kevin’s tech skills and try to nail down when Michael’s credit card was last used.
There might be some other clues that tie in with Michael’s hotel stay and flight plan, too.
Anything that could possibly help track Michael’s whereabouts will be a plus.
If Michael indeed disappears and Kevin carries out a special investigation to find him, you can bet Kevin will work hard to bring his brother home.
There’ll be a lot at stake for their family, but Kevin’s going to face a dead-end outcome early on.
Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) might have to get involved sooner or later if this becomes a more official investigation.
Since Kevin works for the GCPD, he can handle his part whether it’s official or not!
However, Kevin might ultimately call on Rey for help once all roads lead to nowhere.
Of course, it’s also possible Kevin’s investigation will involve something else, but we know Lauren will deal with some Michael panic as the walls close in on Ashland.
Victor will confront Ashland regarding the falsified medical records and the bribed doctor’s interview, which Michael recorded.
Ashland will fake a medical setback once Victor blows things up, but Victor will have no intention of backing down – not until Ashland is out of the company and out of Victoria Newman-Locke’s (Amelia Heinle) life!
If Ashland eventually feels his options are dwindling, he might keep Michael captive and attempt to bargain his way out of this mess.
Michael is someone Victor considers to be a trusted friend, so Ashland might believe Michael is the ticket to holding all the cards after his fake cancer scheme crumbles.
Whatever the case, Kevin will search for the truth and hit some major roadblocks according to March 7-11 info.
