The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will consider a restraining order against Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), but Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) mistake could put that the strategy in jeopardy.
Victor will hope that by severing all ties between Ashland and Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez), then Ashland will realize there’s nothing left for him in Genoa City and leave.
As part of that plan, Victor will recruit Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) to give Kyle a nudge toward legally restricting all access.
Kyle will still be mulling everything over when Summer summons Victor to the Abbott house, where he’ll put some pressure on Kyle.
Victor will fight hard for a restraining order against Ashland – and Summer will back him up on this bold step.
Kyle will be tempted to go along with the plan and ensure Harrison stays protected.
In fact, Y&R spoilers suggest Kyle will be close to caving in on this restraining order, but Victor will make the mistake of mentioning his desire to get Ashland out of town.
Based on how Victor speaks about Harrison, Kyle won’t be sure he can approve this plan.
It’ll seem like Victor’s using Harrison as a pawn, so Kyle won’t like that at all.
Kyle will protest that revenge isn’t his motivation here, but Victor will no doubt insist that’s not his motivation either.
This is about getting a serious threat away from Harrison and anyone else he might harm – at least that’s how Victor will frame it.
Of course, Victor will keep pushing and insist that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) can have this done in no time.
Although Victor will promise the restraining order can be in effect by the end of the day, Kyle will battle some serious reservations at that point.
There’ll be concerns about what Harrison truly wants – not to mention Kyle could be risking a nasty custody battle if Ashland retaliates.
Kyle will pump the brakes and leave Victor frustrated, so Victor may have to find another way to accomplish his Ashland elimination mission.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will work to put Harrison first during the week of May 30-June 3 and beyond, so stay tuned.
