The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) dream home project may be back on eventually. Will Diane jeopardize this couple’s next step?
Y&R fans will recall that Summer and Kyle were once building a new house on some of Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) property.
It was an old wedding gift from Nick – though a lot’s happened since then.
This seems like the perfect opportunity to bring back this dream home project. After all, Kyle and Summer are moving forward with plans to live in Genoa City again.
Now that Jabot’s all set to purchase Marchetti, Summer and Kyle are ready for their next chapter in GC.
It’s been nice for Kyle and Summer to spend some time at the Abbott mansion, where they’ve been catching up with family members and letting Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) enjoy being around his relatives, too.
Even so, Summer and Kyle would probably like a little privacy now that this move back to Genoa City is becoming official.
Maybe Kyle and Summer will ultimately settle on getting their dream home plans back on track.
Of course, we know that Diane will put Summer and Kyle’s marriage to the test this summer.
The more Diane feuds with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), the more Summer will side with her mom – leaving Kyle in a tight spot as he tries to bond with his own mother instead.
Diane will inevitably create more issues, so she could put Summer and Kyle’s future in jeopardy.
It’d be great to see Kyle and Summer get their own house together, but Diane could easily hinder that goal.
There’s a chance Diane might sabotage things on purpose since she’d prefer to have Kyle and Harrison at the Abbott house with Jack.
Diane envisions herself being part of Abbott family breakfasts and seems eager to live in the mansion at some point.
That could become a factor in all this as well, so Summer and Kyle need to stay on guard when it comes to Diane or anything else that might wreck their romance!
