The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will feel like she’s watching her relationship blow up right before her eyes. It’ll be like a trainwreck that Lily just can’t look away from.
Although Lily has been clinging to hope that she can get things back on track with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), things will keep getting worse.
Lily already feels like Billy is slipping away, but she’s trying to give them a fighting chance.
Y&R fans know Lily has been doing her best to communicate her concerns and even brought up the idea of couples counseling to deal with their issues.
Unfortunately, Billy’s devotion to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will continue.
It could leave Lily realizing Chelsea has become far more important to Billy, who just isn’t listening and respecting Lily’s complaints like he should.
Billy will spend all his time with Chelsea as they work on a new project during the week of December 26-30.
It’ll be for a good cause since it looks like it’ll involve wrapping gifts for charity.
However, it’ll also be the prime example of why Lily’s upset.
Billy is so obsessed with helping others and saving the world that he can’t save the woman right in front of him.
Lily will be drowning in sadness over all this and may decide to dump Billy in the end.
Since Lily will be feeling hurt and vulnerable, that could leave her looking for a lifeline.
Daniel may face some sadness of his own if his gaming platform falls through at Chancellor-Winters.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will express regret over a business deal he’s made, so he may go back on his word regarding Daniel running this division.
Lily feels like Daniel’s enthusiasm is contagious and genuinely believes in his vision.
It won’t be Lily’s fault if she’s forced to go along with Devon’s wishes and cut Daniel loose.
Daniel surely won’t hold it against Lily if that happens, so it’s easy to see how these exes might come together in a time of heartbreak.
Since Daniel clearly has some offscreen relationship drama that he hasn’t fully divulged yet, that could be another reason he drifts toward Lily when things get tough for both of them.
It seems like Daniel and Lily could be headed for a passionate explosion, so they may land in bed together for mutual comfort.
Lily and Daniel appreciate their friendship, but they might make some updates to it and take their bond in a steamier direction.
