The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) scammed exes could be uncovered in Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) search. “Taylor Jensen” must have a romantic past that could be exposed, so let’s talk about Michael’s hunt for the truth.
Y&R fans know Michael wasn’t thrilled about the idea of looking into Diane’s past out in Los Angeles, but Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) refused to take no for an answer.
In the end, Michael decided he’d do a deep dive – though he was hoping it would merely prove that Diane had changed.
Of course, Nikki is counting on Michael to prove Diane came to Genoa City with nefarious motives instead.
If Nikki is proven right, this will become a matter of whether Michael’s going to cover for Diane or help take her down.
Now that Y&R has set all this in motion, it seems likely Michael will indeed find some shady info.
It wouldn’t be much of a story if Diane’s past was squeaky clean.
That leads us to wonder about Diane’s romantic history as “Taylor.” Diane must’ve had some love interests while using her alias, so there’s the potential for some scammed exes to resurface.
As Diane pulls Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) closer and reconnects with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) too, Michael could find out that “Taylor” conned multiple men out of a boatload of money.
Diane acts hard up for cash now, but she was able to buy Keemo Nguyen’s (Philip Moon) house on the spot in LA.
Perhaps Diane has more money than she’s letting on or at least did once upon a time.
It’s just to believe someone like Diane was living like a saint, even after her so-called transformation.
Since Michael seems so certain he won’t find anything incriminating, he’s obviously going to make some scandalous discoveries.
There’ll probably be some cons that Diane ran or something along those lines.
Michael has a knack for finding people willing to speak on record – just like he was able to do with Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) doctors in Peru.
Now Michael might find some of “Taylor” aka Diane’s former flames and get them to talk about falling for her scams.
One way or another, the show will need some way to ruin the trust Diane is building with Jack.
Michael’s digging could also create some doubts for Kyle, so Diane may have a real crisis on her hands!
