The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, April 18 Recap – Ashland Faces Victoria’s Crushing Trick – Jack’s Sneak Attack

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, April 18, reveals that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will face Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) crushing trick – and we’ll see Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) sneak attack on Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

At the Abbott mansion on Monday’s Y&R episode, Jack will get confirmation over the phone that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) are coming home next week.

Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will sit with Jack as he prepares to blindside Kyle with the news about Diane.

Traci will also wonder why Diane chose to reveal herself now, so Jack will make it his mission to find out.

After Jack talks about digging into Diane’s new life as “Taylor Jensen,” he’ll suggest someone as entitled as Diane likely grew tired of grasping at pennies.

Jack’s biggest worry now will be that Diane will ask Kyle to support her.

Jack will also hope that Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) can come meet the family while Kyle and Harrison are in town, but Traci won’t think it’s wise to bring Allie into such a volatile situation.

Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will threaten to use the master key if Diane doesn’t open her hotel suite.

After Diane lets Phyllis in, she’ll admit she knew it was Phyllis’ hotel and that she’s kept up with a lot of Genoa City residents’ lives.

Phyllis won’t throw her out since it’d just allow Diane to play the victim. That said, Phyllis will certainly be willing to kick Diane to the curb if there’s trouble.

Diane will promise to behave and try to convince Phyllis that she’s truly changed.

Phyllis will act like Diane will have bigger problems once word starts to spread about her survival. She’ll suggest it’s other people Diane needs to worry about and will argue that things could get ugly in a hurry.

Phyllis will be curious about how Diane survived all these years, so Diane will admit she tried to resume her career as an architect and was unsuccessful under her new name.

Instead, Diane wound up working in a real estate office and ultimately got her realtor’s license.

Phyllis will talk about Diane resurfacing after all these years and blowing things up. She’ll rant about Diane exploiting Allie’s grief, but Diane will contend that Phyllis is twisting the story.

Even so, Phyllis will feel like she knows who Diane is as a person, so she won’t be willing to change her mind.

Once Phyllis heads to the Abbott mansion, she’ll let Jack know that Diane is back in Genoa City.

Although Phyllis will admit Diane has one of the best sincere acts she’s ever seen, she won’t buy it for a second.

Jack will fret over how he’s going to keep Kyle away from Diane until he can offer updates on her survival.

Phyllis will insist she can handle that since Jack has enough on his plate. Since this affects Summer Newman (Hunter King) as well, Phyllis will argue that she’s in mama bear mode.

Back in Diane’s hotel suite, she’ll look up the latest Newman info on her phone.

Diane will seem a bit unsettled as she reads an article about Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) being a force to be reckoned with.

Later, Diane will worry that she can’t pull this off. She’ll work herself into a tizzy over how everything will go down with Kyle when there’s another knock at the door.

Diane will assume it’s Phyllis again, so she’ll be surprised to see Jack when she opens up.

Jack will demand to know “what the hell” Diane thinks she’s doing!

At Newman Media, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will accuse Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) of trying to prove he’s smarter and more capable than his sister.

Although Victor won’t be happy about Adam going rogue or costing him so much money, he’ll admit to being impressed and proud.

Adam will be eager to finalize the deal and will anxiously await Ashland’s arrival to sign the documents.

In Victoria’s office, Ashland will ask Victoria about her children and will fear Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will try to keep them away from her.

Victoria will act like she can handle Billy and make him see that she still loves Ashland despite everything that’s happened.

After Victoria suggests they can come up with some sort of arrangement, she’ll assure Ashland that she’s ready to build a new life with him.

Victoria will suggest living at the palazzo in Tuscany, so Ashland will give her some kisses and head off to finalize the $500-million deal.

At Newman Media again, Ashland will sign the document to relinquish control of Newman-Locke and annul his marriage to Victoria.

Victor will then transfer the money to Ashland’s account and declare that Ashland is out of their lives.

Ashland will try to pipe up about Victoria, but Victor will shut him down.

After Victor calls Ashland a sick man for what he did to his daughter and their family, he’ll want Ashland to get out.

Ashland will admit to still admiring Victor and will maintain that his love for Victoria hasn’t changed. He’ll add that Victor should be proud of Victoria no matter what.

Once Ashland heads out, Adam will tell Victor that it’s over and will assure his father that they won.

As for Nikki, she’ll be alarmed when she meets up with Victoria and learns what she agreed to. Nikki will hope it was a play on Victoria’s part.

Nikki will worry about the possibility that Victoria actually wants to stay with Ashland.

Victoria will know she shouldn’t be so confused and conflicted, but she’ll feel like she’s grieving the loss of her marriage.

Victoria will cry over not knowing what to do with all the love that’s still in her heart, so Nikki will offer comfort.

Next, Victoria will get a text from Victor that says Ashland signed it all away.

Victor will contend that the company is safe and will let Victoria know she’s free.

Ashland will return to Victoria’s office and find her there alone. Ashland will assume Victoria’s ready to start their new life together, but Victoria will give him a fierce glare.

“Did you really think that I would run away with you after everything you put me through?

Did you really believe this wasn’t the absolute end for us?” Victoria will ask coldly.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria is about to put Ashland on full blast, so stick with Y&R!
