The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, August 1, tease that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will play with fire and may give Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) a golden opportunity. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also double down on his deception as he works to protect his family, so here’s what Y&R has in store.
First, Nate and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will have another disagreement at work.
It’s clear that Nate is a risk-taker, but Devon likes safer strategies and doesn’t approve of all the pushback.
Devon is in charge and has far more experience than Nate, but Imani has been adding fuel to their conflict by egging Nate on.
Since Imani likes Nate’s bold side, she acts like Devon is the problem for being too cautious.
Monday’s episode will bring more hostility since Nate will feel stifled at every turn.
It’ll seem like Nate can’t do anything right in Devon’s eyes, so Nate will finally call him out.
Of course, Nate could be playing with fire in more ways than one soon enough.
It’s probably not a good idea to get so pushy with the boss – especially since Devon could just fire Nate if things get too difficult.
Devon’s focus has to be on Chancellor-Winters itself, not on all these arguments.
Nevertheless, Devon will get under Nate’s skin and cause Nate to lash out in a big way.
In the aftermath, Nate may find Imani and gripe about not being on the same page with Devon.
Imani might stroke Nate’s ego as usual and capitalize on her chance to connect with him.
Anything that helps Imani strengthen their bond will get her a step closer to Nate’s bed – and that’ll be a win in Imani’s book!
Over with Victor, his deception will deepen early during the week of August 1-5.
Victor won’t deviate from his plan, so the Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) cover-up will get messier and will inevitably bring more pressure from the cops.
Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) clearly isn’t buying what Victor’s selling, so he’ll be working hard to prove things aren’t as they seem.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will do everything in his power to protect his family, so maybe Chance is the one who should be careful!
