The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, August 29 Update – Phyllis’ Story of the Century - Chelsea Warns Adam Drop Revenge

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, August 29, teases that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will warn Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to drop his revenge plot while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) predicts the story of the century.

At Newman Media, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will assure Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that she won’t publish the story or tell anyone the truth about Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) death.

There’ll be talk about Adam’s desire for payback and Nick’s belief that his brother’s turnarounds don’t last.

Nick will be glad Sally is free of Adam romantically, but she’ll still fret over him despite the breakup.

At Chancellor Park, Chelsea will admit to feeling like her career is in limbo all over again.

Adam will commiserate since he’s been kicked off the Newman throne so many times.

Once Chelsea finds out the real Ashland story, she’ll realize it sounds awfully similar to when Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) covered for Adam on the farm.

Adam will feel like Victor messed him up by hiding the fact that he killed AJ Montalvo, but Chelsea will understand Vic’s protective motives.

After Adam admits he’d move bodies to protect Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and even Chelsea, he still won’t approve of Victor’s actions.

Adam will complain about Victor never admitting he’s wrong or apologizing, so he’ll want to hold him accountable.

Chelsea, on the other hand, will think this can only end badly for Connor.

To avoid traumatizing the kid with a war, Chelsea will urge Adam to let go of revenge and focus on being a good dad.

Adam will point out Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) had similar advice and a job offer, so Chelsea will assume he took the position.

After Adam admits he passed, he’ll joke around with Chelsea about their unlucky breaks.

Chelsea and Adam will end up embracing right as Sally comes along to watch them.

At home on Monday’s Y&R episode, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will catch Jack smiling and humming while looking through the mail.

It’ll leave Traci wondering about the reason for Jack’s good mood.

Jack will act like he has so much to be grateful for, but Traci will clearly think Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) might have something to do with this.

Jack will stop short of saying he’s forgiving Diane, but Traci will fish for more answers and try to analyze the situation.

Once Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) and Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) interrupt, they’ll tell Jack and Traci about the nightclub space.

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) loved Noah’s pitch, so he’ll be opening his club at The Grand Phoenix after the acquisition is finalized.

Jack will suggest a celebratory lunch at Society, so he’ll head over there with Traci, Allie and Noah.

In the meantime, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be eerily pleasant to Diane and leave her suspicious.

Nikki will act like it takes too much energy to deal with Diane.

Now that the shock of Diane’s return has worn off, Nikki will pretend she’s fine with being patient and waiting on Diane to ruin her second chance on her own.

Diane will still feel like Nikki and Phyllis are up to something, but Nikki will argue that not everything is about Diane!

Once Jack enters with Traci, he’ll butt in the conversation and seem ready to defend Diane against Nikki.

That’ll leave Nikki annoyed, but Diane will explain that her rival has been surprisingly civil today.

Diane will also get Jack’s invitation to join the nightclub celebration, but she’ll turn it down to focus on work and leave with takeout.

In a moment alone, Traci will want to discuss Diane again.

It’ll seem like Jack wants to hang out with Diane a lot – especially for someone who acts like he can’t forgive her.

Next, Phyllis will visit Talia Morgan’s (Natalie Morales) hotel room and run down the list of Diane’s many crimes.

Talia will be wary of repeating the same old story, but Phyllis will act like there’s new dirt to be found in Los Angeles.

Phyllis will think she can offer some brand-new tidbits of her own while Talia’s carrying out this LA investigation.

In Phyllis’ opinion, The Downfall of Diane Jenkins is going to be the story of the century!

Finally, Noah and Allie will enjoy a make-out session that escalates at the Abbott house.

Allie will eventually take Noah upstairs so they can take their relationship to the next level with lovemaking.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Noah and Allie’s romance will keep moving right along, but some obstacles have to hit at some point.
