The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, December 5, teases that raging Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will hunt Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) down while Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) fumes over seeing Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware).
At Jabot on Monday’s Y&R episode, Kyle will be eager to nip the Jeremy situation in the bud, but Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will act like Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) being a drama queen as usual.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will convince Summer and Kyle to join her for dinner at Society, where Summer will encourage Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to join their table.
Since Nick will get under Phyllis’ skin with some Marchetti comments and Diane questions, he’ll eventually just take off since he’s already having a bad day.
In Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) hotel suite, she’ll sleep with Adam, but their connection just won’t be the same.
Sally will tearfully talk about all the good things she took away from her romance with Adam, but she’ll think they both need to move on.
Adam will hate that he couldn’t have been the partner Sally needed, but she’ll think he’ll make some lucky woman very happy.
Once Adam gets dressed and offers Sally a farewell kiss, he’ll cross paths with Nick in the hallway.
That’ll lead to Nick coming in Sally’s room and seeing the unmade bed after her hookup with Adam.
Nick will have disappointment written all over his face as he assumes he’s come at a bad time.
At the coffeehouse, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will find out Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is divorcing Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), so she’ll ask if he’s still going to be in Dominic’s life.
Chance will snap at Sharon for even asking that and will insist nothing could change his love for Dominic.
After Sharon assures Chance she wasn’t trying to offend him, he’ll basically act like he’s being too sensitive and apologize as well.
Sharon will add to the awkwardness when she suggests Devon could be a buffer for Abby and Chance as they work out a co-parenting agreement.
Next, Victor will be rather dismissive of Chance as they encounter each other, but Sharon will act like maybe Victor’s being too hard on him.
Sharon’s defense of Chance will leave Victor asking what else she knows.
After Jeremy barges in the Abbott house to settle some business with Diane, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will show up.
Everyone will play dumb about who Jeremy is and his prison past – including Jeremy himself since he’ll act like an old friend.
Jeremy will also mention that he heard Diane was a grandmother, so he’ll claim that’s why he decided to look for her at the Abbott house.
However, Diane will privately seethe over Phyllis, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) following through on their Jeremy threat.
Diane will also have an opportunity to blow her top at Phyllis, who’ll still be at Society with Summer and Kyle.
Once Kyle realizes Phyllis sent Jeremy to the Abbott house, he’ll lose his temper.
Kyle will put Phyllis on full blast and then tell Summer that her mother put Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) in danger.
It’ll be Summer’s turn to lash out at Phyllis next, especially when her mom pretends to be clueless. Summer will feel like a fool for all the times she’s tried to give Phyllis the benefit of the doubt.
Since Phyllis sent a convicted felon to the home where Harrison lives, Summer will push her mother to admit the truth about summoning Jeremy.
Diane will fret over being a basket case back at the house, but Jack will offer a pep talk and pull her close to comfort her.
At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, he’ll fret over Tucker’s ulterior motives when his bio dad quizzes him about Chancellor-Winters.
Tucker will insist he genuinely wanted to bond with Devon and Dominic, so Devon will be glad to hear he’d never use Dom as a pawn.
When Abby shows up earlier than planned, she’ll catch Tucker holding Dominic and wonder what’s going on.
Abby will fume initially since she wasn’t given a heads-up, but Tucker will hope to prove he isn’t a threat to her family.
In the end, Abby will decide Tucker seems to adore Dominic, so she won’t fight Devon on letting Tucker in Dom’s life.
Abby will have bigger problems on her mind anyway and will privately fill Devon in on her divorce.
While Tucker gets a text about Jeremy showing up in town, Jeremy will seem delighted as he reads Talia Morgan’s (Natalie Morales) article in his hotel suite.
It’ll be clear to Jeremy that Talia has really done her research on Diane.
Moments later, Kyle will bang on the door and deliver a fierce warning once Jeremy answers it.
Kyle will push Jeremy to leave Diane alone and won’t intend to repeat himself!
