The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, February 21, teases that Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) dead wife will have a connection to the address he received – and Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor’s (Rainn and River Ware) transplant day will go smoothly.
At The Grand Phoenix on Monday’s Y&R episode, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will mention that she did some digging regarding the address in his text.
Phyllis found out who owns that house, but she’ll have to step away to take Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Hunter King) video call.
Jack will greet Summer briefly before spotting nearby Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), who’ll quiz Jack about Phyllis.
However, Jack will shut down Traci’s attempt to fish for info on his love life. He’ll also get a text urging him not to dismiss these messages and a promise that he’ll be glad he pursued this.
Back with Phyllis, she’ll break the news to Summer that she won’t be accepting the Marchetti offer and moving to Milan.
Phyllis will insist Jack isn’t the reason she’s staying, but Summer will still feel like there’s more going on with him than her mother wants to admit.
That said, Summer will understand why Phyllis would want to stay put.
They’ll resolve to get more visits in and make plans for Summer to come to Genoa City in the spring.
When Phyllis reconvenes with Jack, she’ll reveal that the name she came up with is Hao Nguyen.
Jack’s reaction will let Phyllis know the name means something to him, so he’ll eventually admit it brought his Vietnamese late wife and Keemo Abbott’s (last played by Philip Moon) mother to mind.
Luan Abbott’s (Elizabeth Sung) maiden name was Nguyen – and her father’s name was Hao.
Jack will seem puzzled as he notes that it can’t be the same person.
At home, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will go over a bunch of wedding ideas – everything from a destination wedding in San Francisco to one at Dollywood.
In the end, Tessa and Mariah will decide they need some advice to nail down their top pick.
At Crimson Lights, Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will seem excited about all her college options and the campus tours she’s going to take.
After Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) arrives and takes Faith to the patio, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will wonder if Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) has talked to Faith about her boyfriend and how much he should factor into her college decisions.
Sharon will act like there’s no need to bring that up yet, especially since they don’t even know where things will stand between Moses and Faith in a few months.
Meanwhile, Moses will tell Faith that he’s thinking of staying in town and going to GCU.
Faith will quickly insist she’s thinking that’s the best choice for her as well – though Moses will worry her family will think she’s staying because of him.
Since Faith hasn’t made any firm choices yet anyway, she’ll act like it’s all hypothetical right now.
Later, Mariah and Tessa will seek Sharon, Nick and Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) help figuring out their wedding venue.
They’ll share all their choices and get votes, but Noah will be the tiebreaker.
Noah will think Tessa and Mariah should go with an “All of Me” theme that combines all their ideas – that way they can do whatever they want.
Mariah and Tessa will appreciate the good advice since this wedding should be about celebrating them and their love for each other.
At the Chancellor mansion, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will decide to get honest with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and admit she thinks he needs help.
Abby won’t think there’s any shame in seeing a therapist who specializes in what he’s going through.
After Devon heads to the hospital to do his part ahead of the bone marrow transplant, he’ll arrive at the Chancellor mansion.
Devon will assure Abby and Chance that he’s fine other than a sore arm where the cells were harvested.
While Abby’s getting the baby bundled up for the hospital, Chance will thank Devon for saving Dom and for getting them set up with medical equipment so he can come home after the transplant.
Devon will insist he wanted to help and will add that him being a match was just a luck of the draw.
After Devon reflects on going through a rough time and having panic attacks, he’ll recall reaching out for help.
Devon will think Chance can get the help he needs too, but he’ll warn that he can’t just wait for it to come to him.
At the hospital, Chance will call Sharon and let her know that Dominic’s bone marrow transplant is underway.
Chance will admit the real reason he’s calling is for a counselor referral, so Sharon will be pleased and will promise to report back with info.
Abby will catch the end of that call and know that was hard for Chance to do.
Chance will think he should’ve done it sooner, but Abby will counter that he did it when he was ready.
Once Dominic’s procedure is over and he’s tucked in at the Chancellor mansion again, Devon won’t feel comfortable leaving him.
Abby will worry Devon wants to take Dominic back to his place, but Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will insist none of them wants to be away from Dom tonight.
After Abby suggests Devon and Amanda can stay in one of their spare rooms, they’ll all agree that’s the right call.
Abby will be glad that Dominic can have all his parents around him.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say the real test will be how Dominic responds to the transplant in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
