The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, February 21 Update – Summer Returns for Bad News – Noah Reveals Wild Wedding Plan

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, February 21, tease that Summer Newman-Abbott (Hunter King) will return for bad news – and Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will reveal a wild wedding plan for Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). Here’s what Y&R fans can expect.

At Crimson Lights, Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will be brimming with excitement over her trip with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).

Faith will be eager to check out her top university picks and do some campus tours, so Noah and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will chat with her about her plans.

Once Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) joins Faith and heads to the patio with her, Nick will quiz Sharon about how Moses fits into their daughter’s college plans.

Nick will seem concerned about Faith potentially making a life-changing decision based on where her boyfriend will be living.

Sharon will admit that Faith has mostly been looking at universities near New York, where Moses’ mom lives.

That said, Sharon won’t see any cause for alarm. She’ll act like they can’t predict what Moses and Faith’s relationship will look like in the coming months anyway.

On the patio, Faith will learn Moses may attend GCU.

That’ll suddenly leave Faith more interested in staying in town, but she’ll try to play it like it’s what’s best for her.

Even so, Moses will fret over Faith’s family thinking he affected her decision.

In the end, Faith will act like it’s not a big deal since they’re still in the hypothetical stage.

Up in their apartment, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will realize they’d better get the ball rolling on their wedding plans or else they’ll have to push their April date back.

Tessa will insist she doesn’t want to wait any longer to be Mariah’s wife, so they’ll mull over tons of options and struggle to settle on the right venue.

Once Mariah and Tessa get overwhelmed with all the options, they’ll ask for backup down in the coffeehouse.

Tessa and Mariah’s top three choices will be: a wedding at a fancy Chicago museum, a murder mystery wedding or a mini-musical festival wedding.

After Mariah and Tessa share their dilemma with Nick, Sharon and Noah, they’ll let Noah be the tiebreaker vote.

Noah will think the choice is clear and will suggest combining all their ideas into one.

Noah will act like their wedding can be whatever they want it to be and will think an “All of Me” theme will work well here.

After Noah talks about how Mariah and Tessa love each other wholeheartedly, Tessa will agree and feel like this will be a celebration of what they share.

Mariah will be genuinely touched by Noah’s advice – and Noah will seem like perhaps he’s finally starting to move on.

At the Chancellor mansion, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will push Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) to see someone who specializes in the trauma he’s been through.

Abby will think Chance should go to therapy and won’t think he should be ashamed of needing guidance.

After Devon visits the hospital and has his stem cells harvested for Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Rainn and River Ware) bone marrow transplant, he’ll join Chance at the house.

They’ll talk about Devon getting medical equipment and a nurse so Dom can come home following the procedure.

Devon will recall how bad things got after Hilary Curtis Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) and Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) died.

Devon had panic attacks and ultimately knew he had to seek help.

Devon will have faith in Chance to get better, but he’ll give him a push toward seeking the help he needs.

Chance will indeed call Sharon to ask if she can refer him to a counselor, so she’ll be glad to hear from him.

Sharon will have some options in mind and will vow to get back to Chance with some names.

Abby will be proud of Chance for doing that and won’t mind that he waited until he was ready.

Dominic will get his part of the bone marrow transplant done at the hospital before resting at home.

When it’s time for Devon to head home with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), he’ll be hesitant to leave Dominic like this.

Abby will fear Devon’s talking about an overnight visit and won’t be on board with that at all. Fortunately, Amanda will jump in and help Devon explain.

Abby will realize Devon just wants to be near Dom tonight, so she’ll invite Devon and Amanda to stay in a guest room.

There’ll be a lot of love in that house as they all rally around Dom and hope his transplant works.

At The Grand Phoenix, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will mention uncovering a name behind the address that was texted to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Before Phyllis can divulge that name, she’ll get distracted by Summer’s video chat.

Hunter King will make a brief comeback as Summer on this video call, which will end in Summer’s disappointment.

Summer will be bummed over Phyllis deciding not to accept the Marchetti offer, but she’ll understand and suspect Jack had more to do with it than Phyllis is letting on.

As for Jack, he’ll dodge Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) questions about any potential romantic reunion with Phyllis.

Jack will also get another text that says he shouldn’t dismiss these messages.

The sender will promise Jack won’t regret looking into this, but Jack won’t fess up to Traci about what’s going on.

Next, Phyllis will get a chance to share the house owner’s name.

The address Jack was given can be traced to the name Hao Nguyen. Although that’s a common Vietnamese name, Jack will be stunned over a link to his past.

After Jack mentions his late wife, Luan Abbott (Elizabeth Sung), Phyllis will recall that she was Keemo Abbott’s (last played by Philip Moon) mother.

Jack will note that Luan’s maiden name was Nyuyen and her father’s name was Hao, so he’ll have even more questions about this mystery and how his eldest son might fit in.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack and Phyllis will find more clues as this storyline moves along.
