The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, January 31, tease that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will caution Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) while Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) strikes back. Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) will also celebrate a big win, so let’s talk about what’s coming up in Genoa City.
Y&R fans know Abby wasn’t very receptive to Sharon’s advice when they last talked, but she’ll be more willing to listen this time around.
Perhaps Abby will even apologize since she was so quick to shut Sharon down.
Now Abby sees Sharon’s point about embracing extra help and all the people who want to love Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware).
It’s just a matter of accepting a new version of the family Abby imagined.
Sharon will admit she heard about Abby and Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) decision to share custody.
Sharon will hope Abby has made peace with that choice and can keep putting Dominic first.
Abby will probably confess to struggling a bit despite knowing it’s for the best. She may also reflect on how overwhelmed she’s feeling by Chance’s trauma and her attempt to stay strong for him.
Sharon will caution Abby about taking on too much by herself and will feel confident love will guide the way.
Sharon will share some suggestions that really help, but her counsel obviously won’t be an instant cure to all Abby’s problems.
Speaking of problems, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will have a big one after Victoria revels in her Newman Media victory.
Adam will pretend Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) filled him in on the deal, but Victoria will have a hunch that her brother was blindsided as usual – and she’ll be right.
After Victoria smirks over being Adam’s boss now, Adam will head to the ranch and rant over Victor going behind his back.
Adam will feel like he should’ve been part of the decision-making process, but Victor will think the choice was his and his alone.
Next, Victor will hand down an ultimatum that riles Adam up even further.
Nick will argue that Adam can either get on board with reporting to Victoria or just quit and find something else to do with his time.
While Adam fumes over Victor’s demand, Ashland will make another power play.
Ashland will have a proposal that could bring an intriguing new role for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), so the doc will listen up and consider whether he’s willing to rise to Ashland’s challenge.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashland will keep wheeling and dealing, but he’s luck is about to run out pretty soon!
