The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, July 25, tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will pull off a rescue mission while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) gets some alarming news. Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) seems poised to face a grim fate, so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.
At Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) place, she’ll feel backed into a corner as Ashland lashes out.
Ashland will deliver some ominous threats and make it seem like Victoria’s death is the only fitting end to their love story.
Victor’s security team will do their regular 15-minute check-in, so he’ll no doubt be alerted when she doesn’t answer her phone.
Of course, Ashland will simply act like he just needs to work fast and kill Victoria before anyone can derail his plan.
Fortunately, someone will indeed derail Ashland’s deadly goal – and that someone will be Nick.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick will barge in through the backdoor before spotting the chaotic scene in front of him.
Nick will push Ashland to calm down and realize it’s time to walk away.
Maybe Nick will even bring up Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) and wonder how the boy would react if he saw “Father” acting like this.
However, Ashland may argue that the Newmans and Abbotts have destroyed everything he loves, including his chance to be in Harrison’s life.
Since Ashland will blame Victoria for making him feel again, he’ll want her to suffer and may threaten to take Nick out, too.
At some point, Nick should realize talking things out isn’t going to be a solution here.
We’ll see Nick launch a counterattack to protect Victoria – one that will seemingly end with Ashland’s death.
Whether there’s a struggle that brings a fatal blow or Ashland has a deadly heart attack, it looks like he’s a goner.
It’s possible Nick and Victoria will make some less than ethical decisions if they let Ashland die rather than getting him medical attention.
Regardless, Victor will be notified of the mayhem and take charge of the situation quickly.
Nick’s actions will kick off a new phase of the story and bring more issues for the Newmans since Victor’s going to conceal the facts.
On another note, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will find ways to impress Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) early in the week.
Maybe Diane’s fun scheming can balance out the sinister tone of what’s going down at Victoria’s house.
