The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, July 25 Update – Ashland Vanishes After Nick’s Attack Goes Wrong

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, July 25, teases that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will be dead after Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) punch goes wrong, so Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will summon Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) for help.

At Victoria’s place, she’ll act like Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) security team is coming when Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) calls.

That won’t deter Ashland, who’ll make it clear through ominous comments that he wants Victoria dead.

In fact, Ashland will wish he’d just left Victoria to burn in that car!

Things will escalate to the point that Ashland grabs Victoria, who’ll slip out of his grasp and arm herself with a fireplace poker.

However, Nick will burst in and order Ashland to leave. Ashland will mock Nick for being Victoria’s protector and will get in his face.

Nick will shove Ashland as he insists this is his last warning to go.

Victoria will vow to call the cops and reveal to Nick that Ashland grabbed her, so he’ll explode with anger and deck Ashland.

After Ashland tumbles back, he’ll whack his head on the fireplace and become unresponsive.

Nick will panic over not being able to find a pulse – and when Victoria reaches down to touch Ashland’s head, her hand will be covered in his blood.

Victoria will worry about how the DA’s office will view this and won’t be so sure they’ll think it’s self-defense.

Nick will still want to get the law involved, but Victoria will think maybe Victor is a better call to make.

They’ll compromise by calling Chance since he’s family and can help them out personally.

Chance will be summoned with a vague story about Ashland’s accident, so he’ll vow to rush right over.

Next on Monday’s Y&R episode, Nick will be shaken up as he gets some air and paces around.

Victoria will work to convince Nick that he simply did what he had to do, but Nick will still be an emotional wreck.

After Nick and Victoria return to the house, Nick will notice that the back doors aren’t shut properly.

Once Nick takes care of that, he’ll reel as he looks down and discovers Ashland’s body has disappeared.

At the Abbott house, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will ask if Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) are there since she’ll have some Marchetti questions.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be the only one around, so Diane will run her questions by him instead.

Jack will basically call Diane out for coming over for his advice instead of Kyle’s, but she’ll play it coy.

Diane and Jack will end up having a rather flirty conversation over drinks, but Jack will rein it in eventually and act like Kyle is the reason he’s tolerating Diane.

When it comes to Diane’s chances for friendship with Jack, he won’t give her high hopes.

Nevertheless, Diane will thank Jack for his help and for letting her gaze at sleeping Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez).

Jack will repeatedly refer to Harrison as “our grandson,” so Diane will notice and suggest she’s grateful for all the good things in her life.

Jack will show Diane out and notice that the wicked wind has died down, so he’ll guess that maybe there won’t be trouble tonight after all.

At The Grand Phoenix, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will tell Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that they have to convince Kyle and Summer to lose faith in Diane.

Marchetti will wind up becoming a crucial part of Phyllis’ latest scheme.

Phyllis will decide if they can make it seem like Diane is sabotaging Marchetti on purpose and expose it, she’ll lose Kyle’s trust and have to leave town.

Nikki will like the sound of that and will think Phyllis could be their person on the inside.

Since Phyllis previously got a Marchetti job offer, Nikki will push her to tell Summer that she changed her mind and wants to join the company.

Although Phyllis won’t want to abandon her hotel, she’ll eventually settle on something that can be done about that.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will raise Summer’s suspicions soon, so stick with the CBS soap!
