The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, June 13 Recap – Diane Party Crasher Outrage – Imani Pushes Nate to Betray Devon

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, June 13, teases that there’ll be some Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) party crasher outrage while Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) pushes Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to betray Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).

At The Grand Phoenix, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will gather with Devon, Imani and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).

There’ll be lots of talk about their hard work paying off before Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) walks in with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Jill will make a speech about beautiful beginnings on Monday’s Y&R episode. Lily will also propose a toast of her own where she keeps hyping up the family angle, so that’ll leave Billy looking left out.

With Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) out of town, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will fill in as the event coordinator for the merger launch party.

That news will surprise Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), who’ll learn Phyllis and the Chancellor-Winters team had everything planned out super well.

Abby will act like the event’s practically running itself, so Jack will seem a little guilty as he flashes back to ranting at Phyllis and insisting she couldn’t change.

In a moment alone with Billy, Jack will also get updates on Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) deciding to take Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) back and leave town with him.

Giancarlo (Antoine Grant) will arrive as Imani’s date, so Amanda will approach them both and suggest it’s great to see them having fun. Imani will glare at Amanda like she knows her sister’s trying to play matchmaker.

Once Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) arrives with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), she’ll remind him that tonight is about celebrating Chancellor-Winters.

Victor will understand, but he’ll still want to get in touch with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) since he’s about to become CEO of Newman Enterprises.

However, Adam will drag his feet on coming to the gala. Victor will text that it’s important for Adam to be there, but Adam will reply that something came up and will only promise to come soon.

Nikki will point out that Adam would probably get there faster if he knew he was on the brink of getting everything he ever wanted!

After Jack joins Nikki and Victor, they’ll discuss Victoria’s ill-advised decision to reunite with Ashland.

Nikki will also complain about Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) giving Diane another shot since it’s like giving a cobra another chance to strike.

When Diane comes strutting in, Nikki will confront her enemy and declare that this is a private party.

Diane will argue that the party crashing was accidental and will face Nikki’s wrath until Jack intervenes.

Although Diane will claim she merely wants to take advantage of the spa, Jack will be skeptical – especially since Diane will be all dressed up.

Diane will take that as a compliment and mention that she was going to head to Society for dinner afterward.

Once Diane invites Jack to join her, he’ll decline. Billy will pop up and assure Diane that he still supports her second chance, but he’ll point out that whether she stays isn’t up to him.

Diane will get that her presence alone causes drama and will insist she’s got a spa appointment anyway.

As Diane walks by, Victor will remind her that no one has forgotten her past actions. Diane will fire back that she hasn’t forgotten what people did to her either, but she’ll think forgiveness only requires compassion.

After Diane saunters off, Victor will mutter to himself in disbelief that he was ever married to her. There’ll be a flashback as Victor thinks back on some Diane memories.

Next, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will join Abby for some sweet moments and will catch up with Jill as well.

When Chance receives word on a break in one of Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) cases, Abby will push him to go handle it.

Jill will wonder if Abby ever wishes Chance had joined the family business instead, but Abby will think Chance is doing what he was born to do.

At Crimson Lights, Chance and another cop (Tremayne Norris) will await word on a search warrant needed to enter a criminal’s house.

They’ll talk about honoring Rey before the call comes and they head out to make the arrest.

Back at the launch party, Devon will listen as Nate talks to a reporter about the accident that led to a career in business.

Nate will admit he never in a million years would’ve considered it otherwise and will insist that accident changed everything.

Devon will flash back to punching Nate and hurting his hand that fateful night, so he’ll look rather guilty. Nate will reflect on one door closing and another opening as he appreciates working with his family.

Over with Nikki, she’ll urge Billy to convince Victoria to stay in Genoa City.

Billy will admit he already tried and failed before Lily drags him off for some private kisses.

While Lily’s off talking to the publicist ahead of the speeches, Billy will cross paths with Giancarlo and get praise for their podcast numbers.

When Billy learns “The Grinning Soul” is going particularly well, he’ll play dumb about who that guy is.

Nate will be nervous about his upcoming speech, so he’ll ask Abby for advice since she has business experience.

Abby will think Nate has to follow Devon’s lead and stick to his plan of outlining the overall vision.

Imani will approach Nate afterward and insist he should dazzle everyone instead.

Since Imani will encourage Nate to hit them with everything he’s got, Nate will decide she’s right.

After Nate agrees to go with his gut, Imani will be excited to see him make his mark tonight.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nate’s about to make an epic blunder, so stay tuned to Y&R.
