The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, June 6, reveals that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will get a surprise call after losing Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) – and Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) wish will be granted. Here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.
At the Abbott house, Jack will listen to Phyllis apologize, own up to her mistakes and vow to change.
However, Jack really won’t think that’s possible and won’t like how easy it was for Phyllis to revert to old habits.
Jack will be frustrated over Phyllis throwing everything they had away – all because of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters)!
After Jack decides they’re over, he’ll tell Phyllis goodbye just before Diane enters with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier).
Once Phyllis leaves for The Grand Phoenix, Summer will take off after her and try to get to the bottom of what happened.
Phyllis won’t divulge much, but she’ll make it clear that Diane is evil and must be driven out of town.
Since Jack will want to be alone, Kyle will head to Society with Diane.
However, Jack will still end up getting some support from Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), who’ll find out about the Phyllis split and comfort her brother.
At Newman Enterprises, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will pump Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for info on why Ashland came to see him.
Victor will gloss over the details, so Victoria will keep secrets as well once Ashland texts her.
Once Victoria makes up a cover story and acts like she’s going home alone, she’ll end up at Ashland’s hotel suite door.
Ashland will bring Victoria up to speed on the restraining order and how Victor won along with the rest of the Newmans.
After Ashland offers a tearful goodbye in person, that won’t be what Victoria wants.
Victoria will push Ashland to stay instead and won’t believe their entire relationship could’ve been fake.
Although Victoria tried to stop loving Ashland, she couldn’t do it and will want to stop running from this.
Victoria will dodge Ashland’s kiss and admit she needs time to rebuild trust, so he’ll be more than happy to give her that.
While Victoria and Ashland share a heartfelt reunion, Victor and Nikki will discuss their concerns about Ashland’s hold on their daughter.
As Nikki and Victor leave Society, they’ll ignore Diane and leave Kyle irritated.
Diane will mention how Nikki slapped her during their last run-in – though she’ll conveniently leave out the part where she slapped Nikki first!
Instead, Diane will act like it’s no biggie and that she’ll gladly put up with stuff like that for Kyle’s sake.
Kyle will think his relationship with Diane is moving in the right direction – just as long as she doesn’t give him a reason to doubt that she’s being sincere.
Diane will assure Kyle that won’t happen just before Summer appears.
After Diane exits, Summer will talk to Kyle about Phyllis and Diane’s feud. Since Summer will fear an explosion is coming, she’ll hope for a tactic to avoid one.
In the meantime, Summer will think she has a way to calm Phyllis for a bit.
That’ll apparently involve arranging a call from Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) to Phyllis, who’ll get a real mood boost to hear from her son.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will continue to spin out over Diane, so Summer is right about needing a real solution!
