The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, March 14, teases that Allie Nguyen’s (Kelsey Wang) mother drama will worry Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) while some Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) news rattles Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle).
At the house in Los Angeles, Allie will struggle to understand how Hao aka Keemo Nguyen (Philip Moon) could be Jack’s son.
Allie was told that her dad never knew his own father, but Jack will admit they met later in life and bonded for a while.
Jack will mention his marriage to Luan Volien (Elizabeth Sung) once they reconnected and will show Allie the wedding photo from the box.
Jack will insist Keemo was the best man and offer up the statement of paternity as proof, too.
Jack will finally convince Allie that he’s her grandfather, but she won’t see why she should have anything to do with him since Keemo distanced himself.
However, Jack will explain the tight spot he was in since he kept Luan’s illness a secret and thought he was respecting her wishes.
Jack will add that Keemo was never able to get past that – though the letters he just discovered prove that Keemo was trying to reach that point.
Allie will be pretty shaken up over everything, so Jack will want to be sure she has someone to turn to.
That’ll lead to Allie mentioning her mother, who moved to the East Coast following her divorce from Keemo.
Although Allie’s mom came back for Keemo’s funeral briefly, she had to return home for work soon after.
Jack will fret over Allie being all alone, but she’ll downplay it and won’t need Jack’s concern.
As for the text message mystery, Allie truly won’t think her mom would’ve done that.
She’ll also seem offended when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) fishes to find out if Allie herself might be responsible.
Allie will want to concentrate on grad school and won’t be looking for a bond with her grandfather.
Allie will let Jack keep the belongings he found in the box and will reject the necklace that he once gave to Luan.
Allie won’t be all that hateful about pushing Jack away, but she’ll hold firm on her stance and will leave him disappointed.
Although Jack won’t want to dump all his emotions on Phyllis, she’ll insist that’s what she’s there for.
Jack will be glad Keemo had a daughter that he was close to, but it’ll hurt to know he never shared Jack’s name with Allie or ever wanted them to meet.
There’ll also be some worries about Allie coping with the loss of her father alone.
Jack will sense that Allie wasn’t giving them the whole story on her mom since he heard the strain in her voice.
In Genoa City, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will deliver documents to Victoria that he received from Michael, who sent them just before he disappeared.
Victoria will be rattled over Michael going missing, but she’ll balk at the idea of Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) having anything to do with that.
Even so, Victor will hint that perhaps Ashland has Michael in captivity somewhere.
Victor will try to help Victoria understand that she’s married to a liar, but Victoria will gloat about making Ashland her co-CEO and will stand by her man.
After Victor leaves his latest proof in Victoria’s hands and pushes her to read all of it, she’ll indeed look it over offscreen.
Across town, Ashland will urge Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to have faith in his love for Victoria and help get Victor off his back.
Nikki certainly won’t seem convinced that Ashland is innocent, but she’ll think the easiest solution is to just prove it.
Nikki will urge Ashland to offer his own evidence to refute Victor’s claims – and then Ashland will get a speedy apology.
Ashland will look deflated as Nikki walks away – and later, he’ll face Victoria’s grilling session.
Victoria will mention Victor’s visit, which involved accusations about Michael’s vanishing act and new proof about the doctor that was paid in Peru.
Victoria will have printouts of bank statements, which had payments from an account that traced to a little off-the-radar radio division of Locke Communications.
This radio division has been sending plenty of money to that Peruvian doctor – one who’s been linked to Ashland’s treatment.
Ashland will seem on edge as Victoria presents all this information and awaits answers.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashland will talk his way out of trouble for a little longer, but his luck is starting to run out!
