The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, March 21, tease that Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will get some shocking news while Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) faces a gamechanger. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will also get a fresh start, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
We should point out that Y&R will be preempted once again for March Madness on Friday, March 18.
Fortunately, the show will be back with a brand-new episode on Monday, March 21, which is when Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will drop a bomb on Traci.
After Traci finds out all the Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) details and hears Jack’s story about meeting his granddaughter, she’ll be surprised over his decision to back off.
Billy will eventually join the conversation and express surprise as well.
Traci and Billy will get why Jack would want to respect Allie’s wishes, but they’ll also think he needs to take the initiative here.
Jack perhaps made a mistake by not pushing harder with Keemo Nguyen (Philip Moon) – and now he’ll always have to wonder what might’ve been.
Since Billy and Traci won’t want to see Jack make the same mistake with Allie, he’ll get their point.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will back Traci and Billy up, so Jack will start to see that maybe they’re right about this.
Jack will eventually plan another trip to Los Angeles, but he’ll want to go alone this time around.
There’ll be some other mystery texts to keep Jack guessing along the way, so that’ll be another loose end to tie up.
In the meantime, Billy will get back down to business at his podcast equipment.
Billy will embrace a fresh start and find his groove in sharing his perspective, so he’ll start to view this podcast project as a real success.
Devon will also gain Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) valuable insight on a video call.
Jill will share all the benefits of merging Chancellor Industries with Hamilton-Winters, so Devon will see the potential for a massive gamechanger.
Taking a risk is often the only way to gain a reward, so Devon will mull this decision over and perhaps inch closer to striking a deal with Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil).
