The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, March 28, reveals that Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) announcement will rock her family while a furious Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) warns Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) about his luck running out.
At Newman Media, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will have a strategy session with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
When Nick gets updates on Ashland being at Crimson Lights with Victoria, he’ll insist on going over there.
At the coffeehouse on Monday’s Y&R episode, Ashland will apologize for walking out on Victoria the way that he did.
Ashland will act like he doesn’t blame Victoria for having doubts and will insist the desperation in his eyes is due to the thought of losing her.
Ashland will assure Victoria of his love, but she’ll counter that he doesn’t really love her if he lied about being sick.
Victoria’s “if” will give Ashland something to latch onto, so he’ll hope there’s the slightest chance that she’ll wait for him while he clears his name.
“I think everything is going to work out,” Victoria will reply.
Victoria will vow to deal with her family alone and meet Ashland at Society afterward, so he’ll be relieved as he takes Victoria in his arms.
On the patio, Billy will mutter as he urges Victoria not to let Ashland get away with this.
After Nick joins Billy, he’ll spot Victoria in a close moment with Ashland and wonder “what the hell” is going on.
Back at Newman Media, Nikki will mention that she’ll have to cover for Victoria and Ashland at the executive staff meeting.
Nikki will intend to be as vague as possible and will think Victoria needs time to get over this betrayal.
When Victor gets a text from one of his spies, he’ll flip over Victoria going back into Ashland’s arms.
Victor will rant about Ashland manipulating Victoria again and will vow to put a stop to it. He’ll grab his coat to leave as he grumbles about this being outrageous.
At Crimson Lights again, Victoria will push Ashland to trust her since he’s asking Victoria to trust him.
Victoria will know how to handle her family and will give Ashland a smile.
Ashland will act like all that matters is knowing their relationship will be OK. After Ashland and Victoria share a kiss, Ashland will head for Society.
That’ll leave Victoria to face Billy and Nick’s questions. Nick will push Victoria not to forgive that creep again, but she’ll snap at him to trust her for once.
Victoria will insist she knows what she’s doing and will thank Billy for listening to her earlier.
Once Victoria exits, Billy will tell Nick about his earlier conversation with her.
Billy will note that Victoria knew Ashland was guilty and that they talked about him potentially being dangerous.
Nick will acknowledge that Ashland is still the co-owner of Newman-Locke as well as the co-CEO.
Nick will get that maybe it’s not the best idea for Victoria to go off on him.
When Victor arrives, he’ll find out that Billy knows everything. Billy will argue that they should’ve teamed up from the beginning to stop Ashland in his tracks.
After Victoria makes it to her office, she’ll gaze at her portrait and summon Nikki over the phone.
Once Nikki arrives, Victoria will admit that Ashland is sticking to his setup story and wants time to prove his innocence.
Nikki will seek confirmation that Victoria doesn’t believe that, but Victoria will declare that she’s only going to get into this once.
She’ll urge Nikki to call Victor and Nick so she can tell them all everything the need to know.
Later, Victoria will assure Nikki, Victor and Nick that she’s not going to fall apart.
Victoria will want Victor to stop patronizing her and will insist that she knows what she’s doing.
Nick will mention that Victoria said the same thing to him after he saw her kissing Ashland.
That news will leave Nikki freaking out, but Victoria will tell them all to listen up and vow to only say this once.
Victoria will argue that she’s going to handle this on her own and will do it how she sees fit.
Victoria will add that they don’t have to like it, but she’s going to tell Ashland that nothing has to change between them and that she still loves him.
Victoria’s announcement will leave Victor, Nikki and Nick looking unnerved.
At Society, Billy will saunter over to Ashland at the bar and suggest that even when Ashland gets caught, nothing sticks.
Billy won’t count on that continuing and will think you can only roll the dice so many times before it comes up snake eyes.
Ashland will take a dig about Billy’s gambling problem and won’t seem concerned about the warning.
Nevertheless, Billy will make it clear that Victoria’s going to see through Ashland sooner or later.
At home on Monday’s Y&R episode, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will play with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware), but he’ll struggle with his explosion trauma after some blocks tumble down.
Soon after, Chance will admit to Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) that he still has panic attacks, nightmares and disturbing thoughts, but they’re coming less often.
Chance will talk about how therapy has helped and will confess there’s another recommendation that Dr. Huffman (Jeremiah Jahi) made.
Abby will find out Dr. Huffman recommended that Chance go back to work, so she’ll worry that he’s not ready for that.
However, Chance will make a speech about being in a better place and dealing with some of his uncertainties.
Chance will assure Abby that he wouldn’t be going back to work full-force and would pace himself.
Chance will feel confident this is the right step, so Abby will decide to support him on this.
They’ll kiss passionately before Abby leaves for Society, but she’ll hand Chance his phone as she goes.
Chance will use that phone to call Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and set up a meeting to discuss his plans.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chance could be taking a big risk, so stay tuned to see if he can stay on track!
