The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, November 14, tease that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will get backed into a corner while Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) grills Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will also extend a peace offering, so let’s talk about what’s coming up on Y&R.
First, Abby will be forced to confess what’s bothering her. Since Abby won’t be able to hide her despair from Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), Mariah will manage to pry the truth out of her.
Abby will spill the story of Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) staying out all night and leaving her uncertain about their future. Things were already hanging by a thread when Abby snapped it by sleeping with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
To make matters worse, Chance and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) caught Abby and Devon in the act. Abby will stun Mariah with this wild story, but she’ll actually be coming clean to someone who truly understands.
After all, Mariah made a similar mistake when she slept with Lindsay (Kirby Bliss Blanton). Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) came home early and caught Mariah post-cheating while Lindsay was still there in the apartment.
Mariah might use her relationship as proof that you can come back from a cheating fiasco that horrible. However, Abby may doubt that her own marriage can be fixed since there were so many problems to begin with.
Meanwhile, Adam will express gratitude to Billy for saving Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) life and preventing her rooftop jump. Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) mother was spared, so Adam will be forever thankful for what Billy did that night.
Even so, Adam won’t like Billy’s level of involvement in Chelsea’s recovery. Although Adam will quiz Billy about what that’s going to look like from here on out, Billy may argue it’s none of Adam’s business.
As for Nick, he’ll extend a peace offering to someone. That could be Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) since Nick has been clashing with her over Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) firing lately.
It’s also possible Nick will try to make peace with Adam, but that seems futile at this point. This Sally battle is only going to get worse as November sweeps heats up, so the Newman brothers will remain at odds.
