The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, November 14, teases that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will decide a Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) threat could get rid of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will also dump Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), so a crushing blow is headed her way.
After Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) learns Chance didn’t come home last night, she’ll get updates on how hard it’s been for Abby.
Mariah will understand that Abby wants her husband to focus on his family, but she’ll also know that Chance is a very devoted cop.
Although Chance isn’t quite the man Abby wanted him to be, she’ll have to figure out whether she can live with the reality.
Of course, Abby will leave out a crucial part of the story since she won’t tell Mariah that she slept with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and got caught!
Chance won’t spill the cheating part either when he confides in Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) at the coffeehouse.
However, Sharon will find out Chance’s attention to work has been driving a wedge.
Abby treats that like a betrayal, so Sharon will hint that sometimes we can’t give another person what they want.
Trying to change someone who can’t be changed usually ends in heartbreak, so Chance will soak up that lesson and thank Sharon for her candor.
Soon after, Chance will return to Abby and shut down her attempts to patch things up.
Abby will reel as Chance urges her to be with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) instead.
Although Abby will believe they can get past this, Chance will tell Abby that it’s over between them.
Devon will find himself in a similar situation when he finds Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) all packed up and ready to leave for Virginia.
Amanda will vow to find her replacement at Chancellor-Winters, but she’ll make it clear that she’s resigning.
Devon has proven himself to be a caring individual, so Amanda will believe him when he says his betrayal wasn’t planned.
Nevertheless, Amanda will keep coming back to the fact that Devon passed up every opportunity to shut down sleeping with Abby, even after he got caught up in the moment.
Devon wanted to go all the way, so Amanda will think maybe he’s in denial about his feelings for Abby.
Although things didn’t work out romantically for Abby and Devon in the past, Amanda will act like sharing a child is a game-changer.
Despite Devon’s best efforts to convince Amanda to stay, she’ll insist there’s no coming back from what happened.
Y&R spoilers say Amanda will sob as Devon leaves her to finish packing.
Next, Ashley will have some criminal news about Diane during a strategy session with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Thanks to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), Ashley will have plenty to divulge about Diane and the money laundering saga.
The problem is Ashley won’t have hard evidence. As a result, Ashley will think they should let Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) team try to dig up some Jeremy-related leverage.
Ashley will hope they can use that along with their knowledge of the Jeremy situation to drive Diane out of Genoa City.
There’ll be talk about putting some fear in Diane and trying to make her think Jeremy could come after her for potentially putting him in jail.
Diana will also have Jeremy on her mind when she approaches Kyle with concerns about his prison release.
After Diane acts like she can’t handle feeling judged all the time, Kyle will question why she’s acting like a quitter.
It won’t make sense for Diane to suddenly consider leaving town.
Once Diane mentions something about Jeremy’s revenge, Kyle will wonder if she helped put him behind bars and will seem hopeful that she did.
The wheels will start turning for Diane, who’ll seem to be lying when she claims she indeed ratted Jeremy out to save herself.
Kyle will offer reassurance about protecting Diane from harm and will warn her not to run.
A relieved Diane will hug Kyle, but she’ll confess that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) doesn’t know about this supposed immunity deal – and she won’t want Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) to know either.
That would just be a quick way for it to get back to Phyllis.
Kyle won’t like the idea of withholding information from Summer, but Diane will insist it’s her story to tell and will push Kyle to trust his mother.
When Summer finds Jack at Society, they’ll discuss their mutual Diane exhaustion and how it’s been hard to keep giving her the benefit of the doubt.
Summer will be especially concerned about Kyle’s love for Diane blinding him to a threat that might be brewing.
Even so, Jack will think they can work together to have Kyle’s back if something goes wrong.
Back at the office, Jack and Summer will walk in on Diane’s strained moment with Kyle.
Diane will eventually take off and plan to head to the Abbott house after Ashley summons her via text.
