The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, November 28, teases that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will confess that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is slipping away while Talia Morgan (Natalie Morales) rejects a Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) pitch.
At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) place, he’ll admit to Lily that he slept with Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway).
Lily will also find out that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) walked in on Devon and Abby cheating.
Devon won’t think he knows how to maintain relationships with people close to him anymore.
Lily will understand on some level since she’ll feel like Billy is slipping away, but she’ll hold out hope that their romance can be fixed.
At the coffeehouse, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will suggest that Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) should come work at Marchetti, but he’ll have his heart set on a major project at Chancellor-Winters.
Soon after, Daniel will pitch a mega universe gaming platform during a meeting with Devon and Lily.
Although Lily and Devon will seem wary of such a big undertaking, Daniel will have an answer for everything and will seem quite confident in his proposal.
Devon and Lily will be pretty sold on the idea in the end, but Lily will pick up on a weird vibe from Daniel and talk to Devon about it privately.
Since Devon won’t think Daniel was acting off, Lily will chalk it up to getting older and suggest knowing what’s at stake creates a sense of urgency.
At Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) nightclub, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will meet with Talia.
Nikki and Phyllis will bring Talia up to speed on Diane working for Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and striking a deal to get away with her own crimes.
However, Talia will feel like Nikki and Phyllis are expecting her to do a hatchet job without real evidence.
Until Phyllis and Nikki can provide something more than hearsay, Talia will warn not to get in touch with her again.
Once Phyllis is alone with Nikki, she’ll act like they have to do something drastic and reach out to Jeremy.
Nikki will be concerned about the danger, but Phyllis will act like they just need Diane to believe there’s a threat and get her to run for the hills.
Since Phyllis will think they’re out of options, she’ll insist they need to contact Jeremy and put their plan in motion.
At Society, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will bow out of the Diane takedown mission and let Ashley handle it with her allies from here.
Ashley will grumble, but Tucker will think she’s perfectly capable and hopefully has all the ammunition she’ll need.
Although Ashley will warn that Diane is Tucker’s enemy too, he’ll view Diane as a weak enemy who can’t hurt him.
Since Ashley will seem blasé about Tucker’s alleged mission to take over Jabot, she’ll act like he wouldn’t be dumb enough to try it.
Tucker won’t think Ashley wants to admit it, but he’ll sense that she’s starting to believe the changes he’s made are sincere.
Ashley won’t offer a response when Tucker insists that he’s shockingly close to scoring a second chance.
After Ashley leaves, Tucker will call Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) number and leave a message about their plan.
Since things are coming to a head, Tucker will feel like they have to proceed to the next step.
At the Abbott house, Diane will fret over the possibility of things getting ugly with Ashley and her takedown team.
The thought of Jeremy retaliating and dragging Diane’s loved ones into this will be a real concern.
Diane will convince Jack there’s a reason to worry, so he’ll push her to tell Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) the rest of the story – starting with her refusal to supply Jabot financial info to Tucker.
Once Diane vows to fill Kyle in, she’ll assure Jack that she’ll do whatever it takes to defend her family.
Running away won’t be an option anymore, so Jack will seem pleased when Diane promises not to abandon Kyle or Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez).
Jack will make it clear that he intends to protect Kyle, Harrison and Diane. After Jack hints that he’ll stop the battle from breaking out, he’ll urge Diane to trust him.
When Ashley walks in, she’ll fume at the sight of a grateful Diane hugging Jack.
Diane will head out, so Ashley and Jack will bicker about the war Ashley’s trying to launch. It’ll leave Jack insisting that if Ashley sticks to that plan, she’ll be launching a war with him, too!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashley and Jack may indeed have a fierce war brewing, so that could work to Tucker’s advantage.
