The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, October 17 Recap – Summer Spies Nick & Sally Hug – Tucker Suspects Victoria

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, October 17, teases that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will spy a Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) hug while Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) suspects Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) power play.

After Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) shows off his protective side regarding Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), he’ll ask Tucker about the theory that he knew Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) was alive in LA and was in touch with her.

Tucker will dance around the subject and leave Jack suspicious, so Jack will ask Diane the same question when she arrives.

Diane will act offended and lie that when Tucker dropped out of that helicopter, she hadn’t seen him since the night of her “death.”

After Diane claims that’s the truth, Jack will guess that her word will have to be good enough.

Once Jack leaves, Diane will bicker with Tucker and insist she’s going to keep her distance from now on.

However, Tucker will make it clear that it’s not Diane’s call to make.

Diane was supposed to inform Tucker of Ashley’s return the minute she got back to town, but she didn’t keep her end of the bargain.

Since Ashley got in touch herself, Tucker will refuse to let Diane off the hook and will get quite menacing about it.

Diane won’t know what else she can do, but Tucker will vow to get back to her and will head to his suite over a text from Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

Audra will admit there’s been a big development at Chancellor-Winters, so Tucker will note that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) already accused him of going after the company.

For a moment, Tucker thought Audra might’ve revealed their secret, but she’ll suggest he should have faith in her loyalty.

As for the other CEO who’s interested in taking over Chancellor-Winters, Tucker will suspect it’s Victoria and will wonder if she’ll be as formidable as her father.

At the Abbott house, Jack will tell Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) about Diane denying any Tucker connection.

Traci will believe in innocent until proven guilty, so she’ll suggest Jack should keep his eyes open a bit wider and trust that the truth always comes out eventually.

At Crimson Lights, Nick will admit to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) that he’s seeing someone new.

Although Sharon will realize it’s still in the early fun stage, she’ll sense that it’s not so fun tonight.

Nick will confess that Sally is the new woman in his life, so Sharon will wonder how much of this is about Sally and how much is about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Sharon will point out that Nick and Adam have a pattern of pursuing the same women.

Nick will assure Sharon that his interest in Sally isn’t about a rivalry with Adam.

After Nick talks about things being complicated, he’ll mention that he’s giving Sally the space she needs.

Sharon will think Nick might be more invested than he’s willing to admit, but Nick will insist he’ll be fine no matter what happens.

As Sharon smiles in reassurance, she’ll know that Nick will indeed be OK.

On The Grand Phoenix rooftop, Sally will once again act like this scheme happened because Adam couldn’t stand the fact that she was with Nick.

Adam will try to protest, but Sally will think he should stay away from now on and will leave once he unlocks the door.

Afterward on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Adam will guzzle wine and fall asleep as he mopes.

That’ll lead to a dream where Nick interrupts Adam’s reunion pitch and declares that he’s dangerous.

Nick will snarl that Adam destroys everything he touches and will vow not to let that happen to Sally, but Adam will ultimately wake up from his nightmare.

At Newman Media, Sally will talk to Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) about her conversation with Adam.

Chloe will seem fearful about Adam making progress, but Sally will be more focused on Nick since he was looking for her earlier.

Sally will text Nick and find out he’s at Crimson Lights, so she’ll join him on the patio.

Although Sally will admit she’s confused about Adam, she’ll also know that everything involves deception with him.

Sally won’t know how she could ever trust Adam at this point.

Nick will acknowledge that things are getting messy, so he’ll suggest maybe they should pull the plug on this before it gets out of hand.

Sally will unconvincingly reply that maybe Nick is right about walking away and will hug him right as Summer enters to witness it.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer will have some questions for Sally soon, so stay tuned!
