The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, October 3, teases that we’ll see Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) rooftop escape after Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) loses it over the news about Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind).
When Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) gets stuck at a Jabot meeting, Chelsea will tell Connor the truth on her own.
After Chelsea reflects on getting pregnant and not being able to care for a child at the time, she’ll play up the wonderful family who raised him instead.
Chelsea will ultimately reveal that although Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will always be Johnny’s mother, she’s his biological mom.
After Chelsea acts like it’s great that Connor has a half-brother to bond with, Connor won’t see anything good about this at all.
Once a confused Connor bombards Chelsea with questions, he’ll declare that he doesn’t understand and doesn’t want to talk about this anymore.
Connor will tell Chelsea he wants to go home and will stomp away from her in the park.
In the Abbott backyard, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will renew their vows in a beautiful ceremony.
Once Kyle and Summer seal their continued marriage commitment with a kiss, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will fly in by helicopter.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will immediately chew Tucker out for showing up uninvited at a family event.
Tucker will also pretend he’s just seeing Diane for the first time in years and will mention that he read about her return from the dead.
Although Jack will guess Tucker’s there to see Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), he’ll warn that his sister is still in Paris.
Jack will urge Tucker to leave, but the vow renewal crasher will want to give Kyle and Summer a gift first.
After Tucker approaches Summer and Kyle, he’ll hold up a car key and insist he wants to give them a vintage Bentley.
Kyle and Summer will decline to accept it, but Tucker will be so relentless that Kyle finally takes the key from him.
On Tucker’s way out, he’ll talk to Jack about trying to patch things up with Ashley.
Jack won’t expect Ashley to listen to what Tucker has to say, but Tucker will remain confident.
Next, Jack will corner Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to fish for information on her LA trip.
Since Jack is asking, Nikki will think that means he suspects Diane has something to hide.
Diane will pretend to be in the dark on Tucker’s agenda and will act outraged over him barging in the event like this.
Y&R spoilers say Jack will sense that Tucker is up to something and voice his concerns.
Victoria and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will also note that Tucker’s back just in time for Chancellor-Winters to go public.
Whether there’s a connection or not, Victoria will know they need to warn Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) about his old foe being back in town.
Back with Nikki, she’ll speak with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) privately about the Bentley clue that Tucker just offered.
It’ll be suspicious since Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) remembered Diane riding around in a Bentley with a man in Los Angeles.
Phyllis will admit she watched Tucker and Diane interact, but she’ll think they seemed genuinely surprised by the encounter.
Regardless, there’s clearly a secret to uncover, so Phyllis and Nikki will strengthen their resolve to dig it up!
As for Diane, she’ll get a text from Tucker that reassures her about their connection staying under wraps.
Tucker will push Diane to let him know the minute Ashley returns to town, so Diane will seem on edge.
Phyllis will catch Diane looking fixated on her phone, but Diane will claim it’s a minor work issue and suggest she should get back to the party.
When Phyllis locks eyes with a nearby Nikki, they’ll raises their glasses to each other in satisfaction of their scheming.
After Chelsea calls Billy from Crimson Lights, he’ll bail on the rest of the party since she’ll seem so upset.
Chelsea will give Billy updates on what happened with Connor and worry she’s now blown it with both boys.
However, Billy will hint about getting specialists involved and will think the kids are going to process this eventually.
Chelsea won’t know what to do now, so Billy will have an idea of something that might help.
On The Grand Phoenix rooftop, Billy will explain how he comes up there sometimes.
Since Chelsea will desperately need to feel some sense of catharsis and control, Billy will urge her to let everything out.
After Billy screams, Chelsea will get over her self-consciousness and do the same. That’ll bring a slight smile to Chelsea’s face as she starts to feel better.
