The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, October 31, teases that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will escape death thanks to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will also give his final CEO answer to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), so let’s discuss what’s ahead on Y&R.
In Victoria’s office, she’ll thank Nate for meeting her and hope this means he’s decided to accept the job.
Nate will decline instead and will act like he wants to protect Victoria, who might be exposed as the CEO he fed info to.
Victoria won’t need Nate’s protection and will act like she actually looks innocent because of this move.
Since Nate ruined the takeover plan, Victoria will suggest she’d seem crazy for hiring him.
However, Victoria will appreciate Nate’s loyalty and will think he’s a decent man.
Whether Victoria gets exposed or not, she’ll want to surround herself with people like Nate and give him a chance to act on those big ideas.
Nate won’t think he fits the mold of a decent man any longer, but he’ll appreciate Victoria’s kind words and offer some in return.
Victoria will give Nate a nudge to go after what he wants, so he’ll decide he’s on board with being Newman Media’s CEO.
At Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) nightclub, Billy will irritate Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) by bailing on their date to check on Chelsea.
Since Billy will assume Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is responsible for Chelsea’s emotional state, Adam will defend himself to Lily.
Once Billy makes it up to the rooftop and finds Chelsea on the ledge, he’ll push her to tell him what’s going on.
Billy will urge Chelsea to talk to him, but she’ll just want to be left alone.
Thankfully, Billy will keep talking to Chelsea anyway and will try to hand over his coat.
It’ll be a strategy to convince Chelsea to come back toward the building again, but it won’t work.
Chelsea will sob over all her blunders and feel like maybe this is punishment for her bad choices.
Since Chelsea won’t want to wake up anymore, she’ll act like she doesn’t belong in this world.
Billy will disagree and try to remind Chelsea of what she has to live for, particularly Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).
We’ll see Billy get up on the ledge beside Chelsea and do everything he can to help her.
Just when it looks like Chelsea might come down, she’ll whisper to tell Connor that she slipped and nearly leap over the edge.
Billy will refuse to let Chelsea do this, so he’ll snatch her back and wrestle with her until they’re down on lower area.
Once Billy wraps Chelsea up in his jacket and offers a pep talk, he’ll vow to come stay with her tonight.
Adam will spot Billy and Chelsea embracing when he arrives on the rooftop, so he’ll pick up on the tense vibe.
Although Adam will push for an explanation, Billy will shut him down for now and lead Chelsea away.
The whole situation will leave Adam looking perplexed and distraught.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea definitely needs some serious therapy, so let’s hope she can find a better path forward.
