The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, September 19, tease that Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) confession will enrage Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) while Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) makes a dangerous decision.
At Newman Enterprises, Victoria will mull over her options. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will stand by his offer to be Victoria’s inside man and help her gain the shares she needs for majority control of Chancellor-Winters.
All Nate wants in return is a job running a company, but there are important issues to consider. Nate is willing to betray his own family, so Victoria may fret over bringing someone on her team who’s so disloyal. What’s to stop Nate from betraying Victoria somewhere down the line?
Of course, Nate may argue that his loyalty will be to Newman just as long as he’s respected. This is about teaching Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) a lesson and carving out a new career for himself, so Nate will work hard to sell his pitch.
Victoria is awfully power hungry these days, so Nate’s offer should be too tempting to pass up. Nate’s ruthless side may actually be something Victoria can get behind and admire.
However, this could be a dangerous decision since Victoria could face insider trading accusations – not to mention this move will put her at war with Devon, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) if it pays off.
In Sally’s hotel room, she’ll be in a tight spot along with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Adam finds Nick in Sally’s suite on Friday’s Y&R episode, so the tense aftermath should play out on Monday, September 19.
Nick might pretend he wanted privacy for a business meeting with Sally or make up some excuse about a document Sally left behind. Nevertheless, the excuses won’t fly since Adam wasn’t born yesterday.
It’ll be plain to see that Sally is hooking up with Nick, so Adam will pressure his former flame to confess. Nick will apparently make himself scarce and let Sally deal with the drama on her own, though that may be her choice.
Sally isn’t the kind of woman who cowers in the corner when tough situations arise. It would be out of character for Sally to show fear and lie to Adam when he’s flat-out asking if she’s sleeping with Nick.
With that in mind, Sally should make an admission that’ll simultaneously break Adam’s heart and leave his blood boiling. Adam will be livid over Sally crossing that line with his own brother, so he’ll react accordingly.
