The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, September 19 Update – Summer Stunned - Sally Sends Adam Back to Chelsea or Sharon

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, September 19, teases that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will send Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) back to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) or Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will also get a big surprise, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on Y&R.

After Adam barges in Sally’s hotel room and pushes for answers, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will insist this is a private meeting and that’s all he needs to know.

Adam will think it’s an odd meeting place for business hours, but Sally will eventually urge Nick to leave them alone.

Once Adam asks if Sally is sleeping with Nick, she’ll keep finding ways to avoid answering.

Sally will suggest that even if she did sleep with Nick, they’re all single adults who are free to do whatever they wish.

In fact, Sally will contend that Adam can go back to Chelsea or Sharon if he wants!

Things will get heated, but Sally will ultimately declare that she’s done and push Adam to move on since that’s what she’s doing.

Back with Nick, he’ll cross paths with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) at the coffeehouse.

After Nick praises Sally’s good qualities, Chloe will seem taken aback over him becoming such a hype man.

Later, Chloe will reconvene with Sally and let her know she’s made quite an impression on Nick.

After Chloe acts like Nick is Sally’s biggest fan now, Sally will seem on edge.

At Crimson Lights again, Adam will saunter over to Nick’s table and provoke him over what happened with Sally.

After Adam suggests Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Sharon and Summer will all have negative reactions to this news, Nick will lash out.

That’ll leave Adam acting like it’s a bad idea to get Nick angry.

Adam will take a jab about what can happen – obviously reminding Nick of the way he threw an angry punch and killed Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).

Once Nick rips into Adam for being such a wrecking ball to all his relationships, Adam will reflect on how he thought they were in a better place.

Any new understanding the brothers had will be gone, so Adam will make that crystal clear to Nick.

After Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) convinces Kyle to go ahead and reveal the vow renewal plan, Kyle will pop the question.

Summer will be thrilled over the chance to marry Kyle again in front of all their family and friends.

There’ll be more arguing between Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) at the office, so Diane will mention the suspected sabotage and how she told Kyle along with Summer.

Phyllis will act like it was ridiculous for Diane to bother their busy children over something she didn’t even do.

If Phyllis wanted to target Diane, she’ll suggest Diane wouldn’t see it coming. Phyllis will imply it’d be far worse than a false document planted on a computer.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will spot Diane in a tense moment with Phyllis, so he’ll question whether sabotage was really going on.

Phyllis will deny it, so Jack will hope she avoids stirring anything up.

Next, Summer will leave Phyllis nervous when she insists she knows everything.

However, Summer will just mean that Kyle revealed the vow renewal surprise so she could help plan it.

Over with Kyle, he’ll get advice from Jack on how to handle the latest Diane and Phyllis crisis.

Kyle will worry it was a mistake for Phyllis and Diane to work at the same company, but he won’t want to lose either one.

Jack won’t think Kyle deserves to deal with all this drama, so he’ll push his son to deliver an ultimatum.

Regardless of who’s behind any future mischief, Jack will think both Diane and Phyllis will have to go if it happens.

Kicking one or the other out would just make matters worse in terms of the feud.

Jack will urge Kyle to warn Phyllis and Diane that there’s a zero-tolerance policy. That way, they’ll know that no further trouble is acceptable.

After Kyle fills Summer in and gets her on board, they’ll set a little trap for Phyllis and Diane.

Neither mom will realize the other’s going to be at Society, so they’ll show up and realize they’ll have to play nice.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis and Diane’s battle will explode down the road, so stay tuned.
