The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nate Crashes & Burns at Newman Media – Victoria’s Inexperienced Hire Fails in Sally’s Spot?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) may crash and burn at Newman Media. Will Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) inexperienced hire fail in Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) spot?

So far, Nate’s whole storyline has been about him having big ideas and having his creativity stifled.

Although Nate jumped in at Chancellor-Winters with zero experience as a COO, he still felt entitled to make all the bold moves he wanted.

Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) has been in the business world for years and could see Nate’s mistakes before he made them.

It’s true that Devon was perhaps a little too controlling at times, but many of Nate’s ideas were genuinely too risky.

Of course, it seems like Victoria wants to give Nate free rein in another position he isn’t qualified for.

As Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) pointed out, Nate actually has less experience than Sally does.

Sally certainly had creative ideas and made a blunder or two along the way, but she was also someone who really looked at the data and analyzed things.

There were plenty of times when fans saw Sally and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) taking the time to carefully assess their decisions.

It’s doubtful Nate’s going to do that, so this may be when he finally understands Devon’s point.

What’s the moral of the story if Nate ends up running Newman Media and simply becomes a huge success?

That would just play up the idea that if you think you know best and plot against your own family, everything will turn out just fine for you in the end.

Since that wouldn’t be very satisfying, Y&R writers may let Nate learn a valuable lesson instead.

It’d be great if all those big ideas were allowed to crash and burn. Nate won’t have anyone else to blame now that he’s sliding in a CEO spot of his own.

If Nate singlehandedly destroys all the progress Sally has made at Newman Media, Victoria might end up firing him and begging Sally to come back.

This could be a lesson for Victoria as well, so let’s hope the gamble doesn’t pay off.

Nate needs to understand that being CEO is more complicated than it seems – and Victoria needs to see that you shouldn’t just throw out people like Sally who are doing a perfectly fine job.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nate will face some serious pressure in his new role, so stay tuned to see if he’ll crack under it!
