The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) may poach Imani Benedict (temporarily played by Denise Boutte) to be Newman Media’s COO, so this dream team could replace Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson).
Since Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) wants to slide Nate into Sally’s position at Newman Media, that also means Chloe will get the boot.
With that in mind, Y&R fans should start thinking about who will take Chloe’s place as well.
It’s possible Victoria will want to appoint someone, but it seems more likely she’ll trust Nate to establish his own team.
Nate wants to feel respected and in charge of something, so Victoria may let him start by picking a COO to help him achieve his own vision.
Of course, Nate doesn’t have a lot of qualified people he can turn to at this point, especially now that he’s alienated so many people in his life.
However, there’s one person who supported Nate from the get-go – someone who’s felt rather disrespected herself.
Imani was just starting a private practice with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) when her sister got Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) offer to serve as chief counsel.
Imani was placated with a spot on the team, but she’s had moments when she felt cast aside as well.
It’s easy to imagine Nate poaching Imani from Chancellor-Winters, especially since it’d get under Devon’s skin.
Nate may like the idea of infuriating Devon even further and assembling a team using someone who previously worked at his old employer.
Although Nate might consider asking Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) to be his COO, she seems stuck where she is for now.
Audra has to see things through when it comes to the IPO and Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) agenda.
Besides, Imani’s decision to bolt for Newman Media could play a role in Amanda’s looming comeback and the drama she’ll face in GC.
Amanda may return to chaos and realize Imani is making matters even worse by accepting Nate’s job offer.
