The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) secret launch will end in disaster. Nate will go behind Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) back with his biggest betrayal yet, but Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will accidentally force this huge secret out into the open.
During the week of September 5-9, Nate will decide he’ll have to get sneaky if he wants to pull off his goal.
Y&R fans know Nate has latched onto the idea of launching a new music festival. Even Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) has shown support for it, so he thinks this could make tons of money for Chancellor-Winters.
Since Nate is so convinced this music festival’s going to be a hit, he’ll decide to set up the launch behind Devon’s back.
Of course, Imani Benedict (temporarily played by Denise Boutte) will push Nate down this dangerous road. Nate can’t get Devon to back any of his bold moves, so Imani will be all for him taking charge of the situation and proving himself.
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), on the other hand, will think Nate is making a massive mistake. Devon already doesn’t like the fact that Nate pushes back when his boss says no. Getting sneaky like this isn’t going to end well, so Elena will urge Nate to hold off on his launch preparations and wait for approval.
Despite Nate’s insistence that this is the path forward, he’ll be thrown a curveball on a video conference. Billy will urge Nate to pitch his music festival, so Nate will be put on the spot in front of Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and will have no choice but to spill.
The good news is Jill will absolutely love Nate’s proposal. The bad news is Jill will give the final call to Lily, who’ll put the music festival on the backburner and essentially side with Devon.
It’ll leave Nate frustrated enough to stomp off and threaten to quit when Elena finds him. Although it doesn’t look like Nate will follow through on his resignation, there’s going to be major drama after this video conference plays out.
