The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks, April 18 to April 29, tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will comfort Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) while Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) faces heartbreak. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will also deal with a bombshell – and Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) won’t leave like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wants!
During the week of April 18-22, Ashland will sign all the necessary documents to officially make a deal with Adam and Victor.
That means Ashland will surrender control of Newman-Locke and grant Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) an annulment in exchange for $500 million.
However, Ashland was counting on Victoria running away with him at the end of all this. He’ll be surprised when Victoria reveals it was all a ploy.
Victoria will send Ashland away on his own and make it crystal clear that their relationship is over.
Nevertheless, Ashland won’t just disappear into the night! In fact, Ashland could get a chance to play the hero depending on how things go down.
Over with Chelsea, she’ll confirm that Sharon is fine with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) taking the Chicago trip.
Rey will be excited to attend the Blackhawks game, but he’s not going to make it there.
A car crash is coming up with Victoria in the driver’s seat – and it seems she could face some blame in the aftermath.
Rey will be involved as well, so that’ll leave Sharon terrified and feeling a sense of déjà vu considering how Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) died.
As for Ashland, he’ll do something shocking while all this car accident drama is playing out. Could Ashland spot Victoria’s car after it veers off the road?
Ashland couldn’t save the real Ashland Locke back when he was Bobby DeFranco, but he might save Victoria in the present
. It’s easy to imagine Ashland dragging Victoria out just before the car bursts into flames!
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will spread stunning news, so that should involve updates on the crash.
This will be a huge deal in Genoa City and will certainly affect plenty of characters.
Despite Ashland’s potential heroics, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will insist a deal is a deal.
Victor will want Ashland to get out of town, so he’ll pressure him to leave immediately.
Victoria will have a hard time in the aftermath of the crash. There’ll be an adjustment period, so that could be due to guilt or even some injuries.
Plus, Victoria will have to get used to not having Ashland by her side – though Ashland might hope he can exploit this whole situation and worm his way back into her heart.
As for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), she’ll leave Adam taken aback when she admits she’s falling in love with him.
Adam will have a positive response as his relationship with Sally grows even stronger.
Even so, Adam will feel the need to be there for Chelsea following the accident with Rey.
Y&R spoilers say Adam will comfort Chelsea and perhaps leave Sally concerned about them reconnecting.
During the week of April 25-29, Victor will warn Adam about something.
If Victor senses the possibility of a “Chadam” reunion, he may urge Adam to remember all the damage Chelsea previously did to his life.
Victor isn’t thrilled over Adam’s romance with Sally either, but he trusts Chelsea even less and can’t support the idea of them getting back together.
Of course, Adam may argue that he wants to be there for Chelsea since she’s the mother of his child and someone he’ll always care about.
Then again, Victor’s warning might involve Newman-Locke and Adam’s attempt to take advantage of Victoria’s pain again.
Regardless, Adam seems poised to get another lecture from Victor – and then he’ll no doubt do whatever he wants like he always does!
Next, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will come face to face with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
That’s sure to bring an explosive reunion and bring some can’t-miss scenes.
Kyle will also make his way back to Genoa City with Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez), so Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will finally drop the bomb that Diane is alive and well.
That’ll leave Kyle with some tough emotions to wrestle with.
Kyle will no doubt be angry with Diane for putting him through such horrible grief and missing a good chunk of his life.
At the same time, this is Kyle’s mother – the same woman he’s been missing all these years.
There’ll be another part of Kyle that wants to reconnect, so Diane should get her wish sooner or later.
As for Sharon, she’ll get an invitation that catches her off guard.
If Rey is still hanging on at the hospital at that point, he might get some help recreating their Miami honeymoon in his room or something along those lines.
Maybe there’ll be some bittersweet situation where Rey knows he’s dying and wants to spend what little time he has left reminiscing with Sharon.
On the other hand, Sharon’s invitation might come from someone else if Rey is already gone by then.
Perhaps someone surprising will extend their support as Sharon tries to cope with Rey’s death.
Whatever the case, Sharon will be heartbroken once she ultimately loses her husband.
