The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next weeks, January 10 to January 21, tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will get some alarming news while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) focuses on legacy protection. Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) will also gain an advantage over Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), so here’s what fans can expect.
During the week of January 10-14, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will get help from Lauren Baldwin (Tracey Baldwin) and some other loved ones.
Michael will struggle over whether to retire, but he’ll ultimately decide it’s indeed time to focus on his wife and take a permanent step back.
Next, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will fret over Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) past and how it may be holding him back.
Abby will eventually encourage Chance to talk to a mental health professional, so we’ll see if Chance does what she asks of him.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be treated to a belated birthday bash while Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) gives Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) her full support in the custody fight that’s looming.
Soon after, Victor will mull over Victoria’s business proposal. Victoria will want to buy Newman Media, so she’ll spell out her strategy and get him to express some interest in the idea.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will face off with Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi), so she won’t back down when it comes to the firm stance she takes regarding Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
However, Ashland will doubt Billy’s new-and-improved attitude and will be sure to say so.
Other Y&R spoilers say Sally will present an intriguing offer to Adam before Chelsea provokes her.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will also try to play peacemaker during a Newman family feud, but it won’t do much good!
Adam will ultimately give Chelsea some distressing news, but will it be personal or professional?
If Adam decides to accept Sally’s invite and lay down the law with Chelsea, that could certainly leave her upset and furious.
Of course, Adam might also have updates on Victoria’s attempt to buy Newman Media by then. He might warn the fashion platform could become a thing of the past if Victoria takes over and starts making changes.
During the week of January 17-21, Victoria will gain the upper hand in her battle with Adam. She’ll no doubt gloat over her advantage, but Adam won’t give up!
Victor will eventually step up to protect the legacy he wants to leave behind.
That could involve a Newman-Locke crisis if Victor finds out Ashland is telling a big lie.
Ashland is indeed keeping a serious secret, so we’ll see if that involves faking his illness and how long it might take that shocker to come out.
Naturally, Victor’s attempt to safeguard his legacy could also involve his decision about Newman Media or even Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware).
There’s nothing more important than Victor’s family, so he might turn his attention to the custody battle that’s brewing soon.
Devon will inform Abby of the harsh reality of the situation, so he’ll refuse to budge and insist on shared custody rights.
However, Michael will rise to a new challenge, so there’s the potential for him to help with the legal war ahead.
On the other hand, Lauren will mention Michael’s art and push him to pursue that. It all depends on just how retired Michael actually ends up being!
There’s a chance for Michael to kick back and sketch or possibly throw himself into one more case for Victor’s sake. Regardless, the next two weeks will bring some terrific action.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor’s determination will be on full display in some exciting storylines.
