The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for next two weeks, October 31 to November 11, tease that we’ll see some Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) backlash for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) while Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) surprises Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will also make a dirty Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) move, so let’s discuss what’s in store.
During the week of October 31-November 4, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will rescue Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) from the rooftop ledge.
Chelsea will nearly end her life by jumping off The Grand Phoenix, but Billy will be there to prevent her deadly decision.
Meanwhile, Nate will decide to accept the Newman Media CEO offer, but that choice will lead to trouble.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will spy Nate and Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) celebratory drink at Society, so he’ll figure out Victoria was in on the takeover plan and lash out.
Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will also lose her temper with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), who’ll hang out at the coffeehouse instead of going home after a stakeout.
Chance will mislead Abby about the situation and cause a blowup once she finds out the truth.
Later, Abby will open up to Devon as they continue to grow closer. Trouble could be brewing if this friendship is on the verge of taking a romantic turn.
In the meantime, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will be skeptical when Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) makes an admission.
Ashley obviously won’t trust Tucker, but she’ll claim she can’t get him off her mind.
That may actually be true on some level since Tucker has a way of getting under Ashley’s skin – both in good ways and bad ways.
Regardless, Tucker and Ashley will have to navigate some tricky waters, especially since Ashley will still be using Tucker for Diane info.
Ashley will urge Tucker to prove he’s a changed man, so he’ll mull over how to do that.
When Elena returns from Baltimore, she’ll admit she didn’t take the job there.
Elena will surprise Nate and admit she’s open to fixing things, but his new job at Newman Media will lead to more drama.
Speaking of drama, Nick will certainly stir up some with his father.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will scold Nick for getting involved with Sally, especially after what she did to Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier).
The fact that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) still loves Sally will be a factor for Victor, too.
Victor may argue that Nick shouldn’t be making the family feud with Adam any worse than it already is.
Nick will defend his judgment and his right to date anyone he likes.
Things have slowed down with Sally until she can figure out what she wants, but Nick will hold out hope for a future with her.
Once Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) returns from his Costa Rica trip, he’ll face a bombshell.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) may admit that Diane hasn’t been completely honest about her time in Los Angeles.
Diane will make a big confession later and hope Kyle can understand what she was up against.
Although Diane will still be trying to censor the story and make it more palatable, she’ll at least be more honest than she was before.
Next, Jack and Phyllis will get into an argument, so he may warn her to stop making trouble for Diane.
It’s clear that Diane tends to land in messes of her own making, but Jack won’t want Phyllis making matters worse.
Back with Chelsea, she’ll get plenty of support from Billy following the rooftop incident.
It looks like Billy may summon Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) to speak with Chelsea and perhaps recommend some other professionals she can talk to.
As for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), she’ll voice concerns about Billy’s bond with Chelsea.
Although Lily will get that Chelsea’s been through a lot, Billy’s connection with his ex will cause problems.
During the week of November 7-11, Victor will do some scheming.
That could involve a new move Victor’s plotting against Tucker since he’ll indeed launch a deeper investigation.
Over with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), she’ll give Billy some tough love.
Billy will have to face the harsh reality of the situation, so Jill may worry about the idle time he’ll have now that he’s stepping away as Lily’s COO.
Since Billy doesn’t do well without some structure, Jill may fear Lily’s right about him meddling in other people’s lives.
That could become Billy’s focus instead of finding his passion.
As for Phyllis, she’ll once again play dirty with Diane and make a move for the upper hand.
Whether that involves bringing Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) to Genoa City or not, Jeremy will indeed get out of prison and land back in Diane’s orbit at some point.
Finally, Nate will feel cornered, so he may face more complaints over his Chancellor-Winters betrayal and decision to join Newman Enterprises instead.
Nate will hope to thrive as Newman Media’s new CEO, but some major obstacles will emerge along the way.
