The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will investigate Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) break-in, so he’ll make a shocking discovery at Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) house.
The trouble will start when Ashland shows up without warning outside Victoria’s home.
Following Ashland’s arrest over the restraining order violation and brief stint behind bars, he’ll arrive at Victoria’s place and taunt her by gawking through the French doors.
While Victoria threatens Ashland with the cops and gets a disturbing response, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will run into Nick at Crimson Lights.
Billy will ask questions about how Victoria is holding up after all the Ashland drama and irritate Nick in the process.
Although Nick will realize Billy just wants to make sure Victoria’s all right, he’ll think this Ashland situation is a family matter.
Nick will feel like the Newmans are capable of dealing with Ashland and protecting Victoria on their own.
That said, this encounter will remind Nick of how important it is to keep a close eye on his sister.
Nick has already been concerned about Victoria, who isn’t as worried about Ashland as she should be.
Once Nick comes to Victoria’s door and doesn’t get an answer, he’ll see that the lights are on inside.
Nick will initially guess that maybe Victoria just drifted off to sleep and isn’t hearing him.
Since it’ll apparently be pretty late, Y&R spoilers say Nick will consider just taking off.
However, it seems brother’s intuition will take over and convince Nick that he’d better investigate.
Nick will use the backdoor instead, so the stage has been set for him to make a shocking discovery.
There are a few ways the show could take this, so let’s consider some outcomes for a moment.
There’s a chance Nick will simply find Victoria rattled after the encounter – leaving Ashland’s final showdown for later.
It’s easy to imagine Victoria nearly knocking Nick out as he comes around the corner and admitting she thought Ashland had returned.
It’s also possible Ashland will seemingly be dead on the floor when Nick appears.
There’s even a chance Nick will walk in on a faceoff and go after Ashland himself.
No matter how this plays out, Nick is sure to find something unexpected and will be glad he trusted his gut!
