The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be torn over Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) plan. This determined dad will pressure his son to help save Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle), but Nick will understandably be wary.
During the week of February 28-March 4, Y&R spoilers say Victor will recruit Nick for a new mission.
There’ll be a meeting that includes the main Newman men and leaves Nick on guard.
When Nick walks into this strategy session and sees Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), he’ll be cautious right off the bat.
Nick will feel like if Adam’s involved, nothing good can come of it!
However, Victor will explain that the situation is quite dire. He’ll argue that the fate of the Newman empire is at stake, so Nick will at least be willing to listen.
Victor will form a plan to drive Ashland out of the company and as far away from Victoria as possible.
Since Ashland won’t go willingly, Victor will have to get creative about how he handles this.
Fortunately, Victor is always a few chess moves ahead. He’ll hope Nick’s willing to join this new plot and work alongside Adam, but Nick will immediately reject the idea.
Victor will try to explain how new information has surfaced regarding Ashland and his condition, but Nick won’t want to go down this road again.
The last time Nick investigated Ashland, his own family turned against him – and even now, Nick’s relationship with Victoria isn’t what it used to be.
Nick’s decision to dig into Ashland’s past affected his relationship with Victoria big time, so he won’t be down for another setback.
Nevertheless, Victor will contend that he’s already done the digging himself. The results were disturbing, so Victor will feel like this is a matter that affects the entire family.
Victor will offer a warning and hope Nick won’t make the mistake of bailing on the Newmans at a time like this.
Once Victor admits Ashland never had cancer and duped Victoria into this merger, will it be enough to get Nick on board with some scheming?
Nick will have to decide whether he’s willing to risk permanent damage to his bond with Victoria.
There’s a good chance Nick will take that gamble under the circumstances, so he’ll hopefully join forces with Victor and Adam against Ashland.
